The lack of volume knobs is just a huge turn off. Im using a jvc unit similar to this, and adjusting volume while driving is very distracting. Ended up buying a remote control, which isn't ideal and only slightly better. Volume needs to be adjustable without taking your eyes off the road.
is there any 7" media system with buttons anymore?? I know of the SPH-EVO62, but that old now. I "NEED" buttons, cause mines going into a 4x4, and when bouncing around, you just slide the volume up and down and up etc.... My needs are a Captive Screen, !Buttons!, Carplay and backup camera. Ideas? (Oh, I also like the SPH-EVO950, no buttons, but the "Target nuttons" are bigger.
It would be nice to see this radio mounted in the car and test how ergonomic it is to use this radio while driving a car...because I think a lack of physical buttons can be problematic when you want to do something on the radio while driving
This unit can show vehicle information gauges. Do you know how to get it the bus cable adapter? The manual says something about it but it is not clear and doesn't say where to get it
I'm thinking about buying this Pioneer (77dab) or the Kenwood dmx8021dabs. Which is the better one? Which one would you prefer and why? How ist the brightness of the Display in comparison?
It's a nice stereo but not being able to adjust the screen height sucks for people with single DIN. It's a stupid thing for it to fail on when it really isn't THAT hard to make the screen adjustable.
