Ta'sh-kurga'n is Ta'jik name. I see Turkic and Persian as well as Afgha'ni in both the Drum and Pipa. And some Lezginca. Note: pipa came from central Asia to China, but , now, there is no Pipa' in Central Asia. Persian Music is based on poetry's rhyme for the song.
Chinese music uses a kind of cipher notation, the notes have numbers with lines underneath for rhythm and other symbols for right hand. Staff notation doesn't work as well for this, I find. If you play flamenco guitar you could do an adaptation of pipa music. And inspirit--not necessarily so. I learned numerous instruments, including guitar, by ear. Though I can read scores, I usually prefer to do it by ear, ear training is more important. And guitar is as expressive as the player makes it.
