Details of M.S PIPE Manufacturing
6 mm dia MS Bars both side. out coating is to be done with 30 mm thick with cement mortar 1:3 (by volume) by the process of brush coating / Guniting. Wire Mesh of size 50 x 50 x 3 mm wire shall be provided on the external surface of the Mild Steel Pipe.
The cement mortar coating shall provided a minimum cover of 19mm over the wire reinforcement or 25mm over the cylinder.
The length of pipe should not less than six meters
This outer coating helps in saving pipelines from the damaging effects of corrosion.
