70 and 80s what a time in surfing

This was about 6 or 7 years after I started surfing. I remember all these cats. Jerry, the king of pipe. Hans was killer too. Dane ripped for a pretty big guy. Ha, I still have my Martin Potter Blue Hawaii board. Prolly got that a year or two after this flick. Great memories, thanx for posting this.

Thanks for uploading the video. This is the first video I ever saw, back in 1986 or 1987, and I had the "brilliant" idea of showing it to my parents, telling them that I was going to begin surfing, back when surfing in Chile was almost an unknown sport . You can tell how hard was making the money for the first used board...

this is like a north shore reunion
