That's a nice J-3 I'm glad I found your video. In 1969 while stationed in Taiwan, I had one with a 54 inch wing span and I flew it on a single channel bush button radio with a Mc'coy red head 19 control line engine. rudder only was a lot of fun. Jim
That is a sweet Cub! If I'm not mistaken, it looks like you did your range check with engine running ... very smart move. Judging by the smoke it looks like the engine is glow. They load up on throttling back and sometimes drown the plug. I love Cubs so much I have three ... 1/6th, 1/5th and 1/4.
Great aircraft iv BUILT 2 TOLTALY FROM PLANS ONE AT 8FT WING SPAN AND ONE AT 10 FT WITH WITH BIG PETROL ENGINES. IF THE GENTLEMAN HAS BUILT IT FROM PLANS WELL DONE IT A 👍👍. IF ITS A READY BUILT THEN IM SORRY it's a THUMBS down 👎AS A MODELER AND BUILDER FOR 50 YEARS I WHATCH SO MANY VIDEO'S OF READY R.T.F. MODELS ITS HART BREAKING TO SEE . AND MAY BE SO THAY ARE GOOD FLYERS . BUT CAN THAY BUILD ! .
