You are aware that the Middleton's were ALREADY wealthy long before Kate married Will, right? It's very narrow minded when people say that just because a person has wealth, fame, and status there's no reason why anyone could love them for reasons other than that. They don't pay attention to their fame and have gone back to their normal lives since the wedding. Are you picking on the them specifically, or would you say the same thing about any family who married into the royal monarchy?
Pippa Middleton on Wikipedia- "By 1995 the firm, run by both parents, was so successful that it moved into a range of farm buildings at Ashampstead Common and since then the Middleton parents are reported to have become millionaires"- The Middleton family were reported as being Middle-class Britons when Kate met her husband at college, their family business became successful because of the media!
The media chased Kate Middleton around for almost ten years before she married her Prince and got Royal protection. Poor Pippa is destined to be harried for even longer. The patience, grace and unfailing good humor with which the Middleton ladies endure the photographers is amazing. Any idiot can take a good photograph of Pippa and her sister and many do! It is a financial bonanza for the press and hopefully for Pippa's heroic effort to persuade the world to take English cuisine seriously.
In many ways, Pippa has a more difficult task than her sister. She should be her sister's lady in waiting and private secretary (she majored in English at University and is a published author) if this would offer her some protection from the disagreeable aspects of the media frenzy surrounding her.
A Puritanical Roundhead bore once again attempts to spread falsehoods about the Duchess of Cambridge and her mother. She is jealous of the fact that Prince William, who spent several years rescuing mariners in the North Sea and Falkland Islands, married the woman he loved and as a result is perfectly happy. Carole Goldsmith Middleton is renowned for her behind the scenes efforts as the only Royal grandmother for Prince George and for raising a daughter who is the epitome of elegance and grace and who was selected as the world's best dressed woman by Vanity Fair magazine.
The compassion of the Duchess of Cambridge is her wonderful effort to follow the Royal tradition followed by Princess Alexandra of Denmark (mother of Prince Albert and later Queen Mother of England who befriended the famous Elephant man, Joseph Merrick) and Princess Diana who embraced Aids patients. There is absolutely nothing trivial or mercenary about what the Duchess of Cambridge does which is to be a patron and fund raiser of charities that help sick children and those recovering from substance abuse.
British aristocratic class envy at its ugliest. The fact that the Duchess of Cambridge was a commoner when she married a Prince who followed his mother's advice and married the woman he loved continues to baffle and annoy certain supporters of the British aristocracy which has always assumed that its members were solely entitled to marry royalty. The ascent of the Middleton and Goldsmith families shows the beauty of the British Constitutional monarchy that always had a place for commoners unlike the Continental European monarchies.
Unlike the Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Diana never attended college and struggled in various boarding schools before that partly because the divorce of her parents. Diana jokingly referred to herself as "thick as a board". Both she and her husband admitted to adulterous affairs. Nonetheless, when she told her son about her divorce she cautioned him that if he found true love he should hold onto it at all costs which is what he did after meeting the beautiful and proper Kate Middleton. Kate was a successful student and worked in the family business as a photographer before she became a Princess by marrying Prince William. It is obvious that William and Kate love each other and intend to stay together for life. She has always had numerous close friends of both sexes. Carole Middleton is a successful wife, mother and entrepreneur. William tried dating women from his own social background but quickly settled on Kate because he loved both her and her warm and stable family.
I like Pippa. There is something about her that makes you want to have a second look, even more than her sister Kate (sorry, can't help it, don't hate me).

It's annoying when they call people "Commoners" and speak of people in a derogatory manner. Do you know who Sai Baba was? He was a multi-billionaire guru wealthier than all royals across the globe and he never referred to anyone as "commoners".
Ask the paparazzis. It's the Middleton's effect. There are even more ladies look better & classier in the school campuses. She looks good but not good enough.
Middle-class people are not millionaires. They were not wealthy before the royal relationship! If Pippa wasn't Princess Kate's sister- she would not be noticed. She is not all that beautiful.
