Johnny Depp returns to the big screen as the iconic, swashbuckling anti-hero Jack Sparrow in the all-new “Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge.” The rip-roaring adventure finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil's Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea-notably Jack. Jack's only hope of survival lies in the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to find it he must forge an uneasy alliance with Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), a brilliant and beautiful astronomer, and Henry (Brenton Thwaites), a headstrong young sailor in the Royal Navy. At the helm of the Dying Gull, his pitifully small and shabby ship, Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent spate of ill fortune, but to save his very life from the most formidable and malicious foe he has ever faced.

Oh lol okay I thought you were hating on him. I had to watch it again to see if it was cringe worthy but it made me smile again to see how much Orlando smiled to hug and then try to kiss Johnny and him not expect it lol. I love them both!

johnny depp is actually giving us some advice on how we society see people on tv being ignorant as possible, and we giggle. it's a long chain of disbelief, all mean while thinking the characters are real and not portrayed as stereotypical, falling into the liking of one character is as your personality shifting to that one's stereotypical ways

Worst POTC in the series. Very badly executed. Especially how they wrote Jack Sparrow. He was the cool, smart, cunning,tactical, genius. In the last he was a dumb drunk with no plan. Like the writers themselve were fooled by Jack that he is a fool, but we know better and it has being shown time and time again. that he's actually the one who outsmarts everyone. I feel for Johny he went through some rough years.
