The big storm last weekend messed up our production schedule, so I hope you enjoy the last of our Drew Henderson recordings from this past November. Don't worry, we have our second "Ani-May" video coming out in two weeks as well as three more Drew videos in post-production!
Amazing performance. I felt like I was a part of Captain Jack Sparrow's crew walking down the streets of Tortuga and hearing the iconic quote, "Take what you can, give nothing back".
Thanks a ton Simon, we really appreciate that. It's been a journey seeing this suite mature over the years into what it is now. Glad you enjoyed it. All the best on your ongoing recovery, can't wait to hear more of your music!
Thanks a ton man, it really does mean a lot. And indeed, we've been chatting a lot about how to move back to our original vision in regards to videos. We're happy of the distanced series we did in order to keep playing during the pandemic, and it sure has some advantages in regards to finding convenient times for us to do our thing (and do as many takes as we want haha). However, we'll take playing together over recording our separate ways any day!
I just heard about the trio today and watched a few videos. Not disappointed in any of them. This one was spectacular. I could picture drunken Jack Sparrow and jaunty Jack Sparrow in the performance and facial expressions of the "guy in the middle". Sorry but I don't know who's who yet. Everyone did such a great job.
Haha, "guy in the middle" thanks you! I definitely always enjoy hamming up the character in that part, it's such an integral facet of the movement. No rum before the recording session though, that comes after. 😆 We're really happy that you dig our stuff, it always warms our hearts. Thanks for taking the time to leave us a few words. Cheers, hope to hear from you again!
We can't rave enough about Drew's production. He really does make anyone sound their best, and holds the space so beautifully during the recording. We are blessed. Thanks for watching and taking the time to chime in!
We couldn't agree more about the space. It's such a pleasure to interact with such a great room, very inspiring! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Well, you know, we had some great vibes coming our way during the recording session. 😉 Hope to catch up soon, buddy! Thanks for your support as always.
Hello friends! Very nice to meet so great trio and arrangements! I'm from brazil and I record guitar trios too, well, sometimes more than 3 ;) Great audio too, I must say!
Thank you very much Bruno! Always nice to know when someone appreciates and understands the interplay! We agree about the audio, Drew Henderson always delivers outstanding production. 🙂
Thank you very much! From left to right, the guitars are built by Kenny Hill, Jean Rompré, and Vicente Carrillo. Nathan and Alex are both using the Ergoplay guitar supports (Tröster model). We’ve been experimenting with different supports as of late and simply suggest that you try as many supports as you can to find your correct fit!
Sorry to hear that man. Due to copyrights, we don’t have the authority to just send this music anywhere unfortunately. That’s why we partnered with Musicnotes.com to make sure everything is legit and that the composers and publishers are compensated for their work. All the best on your guitar journey my friend.
Hi Luis, you can purchase the score on Musicnotes: www.musicnotes.com/l/669Mp. We publish with Musicnotes to ensure that the composers of these great pieces get fairly compensation for their work.
