Her teenage brats, though, were extremely RUDE to stand there and hold the elevator for themselves!! She should have had the common sense to tell them to get out of it, or go where they were going to go. Brainless people! On the other hand, Peter Buka was great, as always.
Some people genuinely do have somewhere to be. They might be late. Not everyone is killing time. This is at a metrostation so there's a good chance 90% of the people walking past are on a timer.
The place is the FGC train station in Plaça Catalunya. As someone pointed out, it's a link station. Lines L1 and L3 of the TMB metro pass nearby. Usually non-tourists in Barcelona go on time.
Why no one is talking about the mother not wanting to go with the children because she wanted to stay and spect the whole performance? Loved her! Incredible performance once again!
Because is well know that the generation of those kids are a bunch of imbecile young people without any regards for arts, music, history, culture or respect. It's a failed generation of puppets who only cares about tik Tok, social media and disrespect what they can't even understand. Generation os losers, influenced more that those fake idiots influencers than from parents or real good examples. Take their alimony and cell phone and they cry like like babies they are.
@@Winowinter no, that’s not just too fast, the techniques he uses are insanely hard. I play piano for 10 years and i know that it needs 100 etudes played to play left arpeggios down like him
@@Kinoa2 yes he's master of this arpeggios and a huge inspiration and I still practice on doing better left hand arpeggios but it will take even more time because I started as adult self taught... So...
How someone stores that much data in their head and retrieves it so perfectly to control their body so precisely is incredible to me. I have so much respect for musicians, especially ones of this caliber.
The fact that he didn't miss a single note is fucking insane. This is what you call pure talent holy shit. You going places my guy that's beyond obvious
Skill* not talent. Its "just" dedication and a lot of learning. Doesn't makes it any less impressive tho. I just think that "talent" is an overused word and leads people to think 'ah, he is so talented, I won't ever be as good as him' and then people won't even try to be as good as him, even though they could become just as good as him.
@@Just_a_Teddy the only people who look at the talent of someone else as something they can't achieve or pass are people who don't have the will to do anything for themselves in the first place. And your ideology on talent is seriously fucked up. In your case it's nothing more then an opinion. In reality what he has is both talent and skill. If you want to bunch yourself in with those who think that way go ahead it just means you'll never be anything in life. The difference between people who achieve things in life and those who don't is their will to do so. And people who don't have a strong will power will never get anywhere that's the truth. It's not impossible to go from having almost no will power to having an insane will to achieve greatness and get shit done. But to belittle the fact that what he has is both talent and skill just based on your half-assed ideology makes you a piece of shit. It's never okay to discredit someone for anything and that's exactly what your comment was. I hope you read this all the way through and it shows you that you need to rethink a lot in your life
saying "what a talent" is actually an insult. bear with me here. if you say talent, you really say, he got lucky in the DNA lottery. no talent in the world will help you without blood sweat and tears. shure high talent means less sweat for same result and a higher sealing on skill. but still its a lot of work. skill on the other hand is earned. maybe with help of talent but mainly with work and passion. so yea he is very skilled and has put a lot of energy into this one.
Oh how have I missed these public piano performances. It's just another level of immersion watching you play and seeing peoples reaction in real time. What a performance! Keep it up. Long time fan of your content!
The absolute timing of the elevator door closing and the kid going down the moment the last note is played, is hilarious. The whole mother and kids interaction looked like a comedy skit.
Haha, it is like the scene in the movie when Jack Sparrow reaches harbor in sinking boat and casually walks away as it sinks completely just like the elevator kiddo's patience! ;)
@@user-qy8fx1qh2u limited because they think not only about themselves? its a valid point. why couldnt they ( the 2 kids) just stay and make mom happy and at the same time not hold the elevator? sounds like the limit is set by the smallest of considerations
This is fierce. And Peter looks like a rock star now. As an aside, there is something decidedly amiss in our society if people just stroll past something like this.
Brilliantly played. Simply Genius. Impressed, what a day. Listened again, almost ... a hundred times. Fire. Power. Madness. Peter Buka - Forever !!!
For personally doing more than a public performance, I appreciate this a lot, since it's freaking hard to control the shaking of my hands while playing and the "Please don't mess up now" constant though at the end. I've never ever done a piece as perfect as I wanted it to be in public, I just can't understand how the hell you're soo good ! Keep up the great work, Peter.
Peter Buka is "soo good!" because he does this often. He doesn't let any stage fright get in the way of his excellent performances, pushing through it if he does experience it---and he very likely does. It's impossible to tell that he does when watching his YT videos, and only my opinion, I think probably the performances he does at public pianos is more enjoyable than unnerving so there's not much nervousness. Certainly Mr. Buka has the skill and showmanship to constantly put on masterful and excellent performances, and I, for one, wouldn't know if he messed up, not being a pianist.
I would totally sat right on the ground near the piano and listen to you playing during hours if I was here when you were playing it. Pirates of the carribean is my fav saga of all time
Blows my mind that the elevator teens can’t take a moment to appreciate talent & hard work for what it is. Plenty of music genres that aren’t my favorite but I still take a moment to tip my hat when awesomeness presents itself.

There are many great pianists in our world. There were many great pianists over the centuries. But none of them played with as much spirit and passion as you, Peter. What a whole orchestra performs, you perform with a single instrument and two hands. So, so beautiful. We wish that one day we could see you play somewhere, live. And my daughter would love to have a piano lesson with you as well. We admire your work, love from Europeans in Canada
Man, you have less videos but insane skill. I have been watching piano videos everyday for ages and i can clearly say that you are one of the best! And you are still young. If you go on i can not imagine what level you can reach. Keep up the good work!
Almost unbelievable! Only the evidence of the eyes proves this is real. Magnificent. That anyone could not stop and listen defies belief. I am in bewildered awe!
Your skill is always fascinating. Thank you so much for sharing with us! And the two sons in the lift are totally annoyed that their parents are listening to you 🤣
Erre kevesen képesek, legyenek bármennyire is képzett pianisták.
This was amazing! I can’t believe his music made my mind feel like I could feel the sea air blowing through my hair. How could so much passionate storytelling come from just a piano? This guy is amazing! I don’t know how anyone could’ve just walked passed this playing.
This performance truly a masterpiece! I watch it with a big smile on my face. Peter and Andy Morris are one of the best amongst young pianist that I adore!
How is this not viral like crazy, this is the best piano version of pirates of the carrebian, I can't stop listening to it again n again omg m speechless. even 2M views don't justify this raw talent
The looks on peoples faces when they see a 'Hoody' playing like a boss. Amazing talent and confidence playing that piece and by ear, no music sheet, nice one 💯
Amazing, I would love to witness in person any of his songs. To all the people walking by and the kids in the lift, stop and enjoy, are you not entertained? Because this is an incredible talent to behold the passion and dedication he puts into his music is inspiring. Thank you Peter for sharing your talent with the world, and all of best to you and your family during this holiday season !
