I completely understand the hate from other players, and I also, for example, want arena back. But after about 500 hours of playtime, I still think SoT is a beautiful game that can be a lot of fun with friends or even alone. It's a place where I can relax and just be a pirate. Yes, not everything is perfect, but hey, that's life. I want to say thank you to Rare for creating the most beautiful pirate game out there. Thank you for creating a place of friends, enemies, children, and adults. Thank you for creating the Sea Of Thieves!
As a Dad with a full-time job, I'm really looking forward to shorter sessions that are still meaningful. At present I don't play often at all because I have very little time and can each almost nothing.
They should have given us a new form of arena. The hyper aggressive people that everybody's scared of give them a place to do the thing they want to do a new arena that had a TDM mode would be nice
I think this is going to be a huge step in SoT's future. More players wanting to relax will actually feel like their relaxing session is also productive. When I first started, I maxed out Gold Hoarders soley because I loved digging X-Marks the spot maps
@@Nico_6967Better than spending 3 hours of my life to get one voyage done just for some loser to kill me on island and everything be for nothing. What a fun game loop
@@bluemutt9964 I’d rather that. At least I earned my stuff before I died. At least I actually got to enjoy the core principle of the game which is sailing around and exploring. I don’t want things to be handed to me. I don’t want free treasure. I want to work for it and if that means I end up losing it, oh well. If I don’t lose it, however, I would actually feel accomplished, as opposed to if the game did half of the work for me. I get that sailing across the map can be annoying, but that’s just how it is. Take that time to screw around with your crew or something. Take that time to take in the view. Figure something out.
@@Nico_6967but here's the thing, you don't have to dive to the island, you can still sail there with friends. I most likely will be sailing but there are some times where I just don't have 2 hours to play but I wanna get on for like a half hour little hang out with friends. We end up having to go fishing or just hope we find something because we don't have time to start up a quest. I think the only people this hurts are people who hunt other ships but even then it stops you from hunting empty ships so it's not a total loss.
“Except hunters call” players have literally been waiting on an overhaul to hunters call since Hunter’s call was first introduced. Just add monster hunting, fishing, rewards, cooking rewards, something anything for the hunters call.
They’ve already mentioned a potential hunters call overhaul a while ago and with the rest of the trading companies now overhauled I reckon a hunter call update is definitely gonna be one of the next seasons
We got hidden buffs to the hunter's call in the last few seasons. We can now purchase bait, sell at an outpost, gain 1.5x the gold when selling at a seatpost, and raise our emissary grade by cooking and get a bonus on fish sold with a guild emissary
@@ausraptor9602 Not to dampen on that idea... but they did say in their most recent podcast that they don't have plans (at the moment) for a Hunter's Call update. But they did at least say they have explored ideas/concepts for how to expand on it. So hopefully some season in the future
Looking really good! as a veteran SoT player it is quite nostalgic to grind for new company rewards. The only difference between when I was a new pirate and now is that I won't be running from other pirates this time, please, come and fight me 🏴☠️
You know what, I take it back. Season 11 doesn't look that bad now that we have all the details on diving to world events. It actually looks really good. Im sorry for jumping to conclusions, Rare. Good job!!
good on you! never jump into conclusions season 11 will be great but the only thing im not a fan of is people teleporting to you when your half way thru a world event
yeah it's an issue a lot of people have: jumping the gun when we ALL know that the first video they post for a new update/season doesn't necessarily contain all the info always wait for the deep dive video, and even then, stay reserved and actually play the season before giving your full unaltered opinion
I've jumped to the conclusion that they couldn't be bothered to add any actual new content. Just interface changes that could be put in a regular patch. This is just a patch wearing a, "season" skinsuit.
I'm glad that the tutorials will teach about securing loot and bringing it back safely. The thing that ended the frustration that I felt sinking to an experienced crew as a new player was sinking to a skeleton ship as a new player. It helped me realize that if it wasn't one thing, it was another, and I started to see rival crews as part of the challenge.
This sounds great! I might have to call the old crew back to Sea of Thieves. Always enjoyed my time but we always had to make sure we had the energy to put in the long sessions. Wasn't easy to just play for 10-30 minutes to make any meaningful progress, especially when you're an adult that doesn't have as much time to game anymore
So pumped on these updates. My son and I love running the straightforward quests, but the time to get going and the subsequent rewards were a bit frustrating. This is a huge QoL upgrade for players like us
This is for griefers who enter the server and tp to your world event and ruin your game before you can see someone coming from far away, toxic players dont waste their time, you have a chance pop up their ships everywhere. The long travel trough the sea was a part of atmosphere and gameplay.
@lightning4life204 you can only tp closer to the island for your quest you then have to sail back to the outpost. So now 90 percent of the time every ship has as treeasure on it making pvp making more sense
This is great and all, but us hunters are still waiting for our big update haha Jokes aside, I think this will be good for newer players. Besides, people were worried about safer seas and it was ok. I think this update will take some getting used to for sure but it’ll turn out fine :)
It sounds like the diving to events will only be on High Seas because it requires a trading company emissary. This, plus the distinctions should make High Seas even more fun.
This season gives me a lot of hope. One of the main reasons I stop playing SoT was just how much of a drag it was to start back up again. It is a game with a lot of inertia, where you also find difficulty stopping once you've started.
Love the new crests. Always been an Order of Souls fanboy, and the crest for them looks so sick. Thanks to Safer Seas I've gotten back into the game (playing between both High and Safer) and I"m really enjoying it. Looking forward to the update!
Just wanna give a big thanks to the the spreadsheet team. Necessary work that is often under appreciated. Game changing updates don’t happen without all the work people like that do behind the scenes
you should add the contested world event diving from insiders to the game, but make it an hourglass thing! Have it so you're told directly that it's a PVP thing, and that ships will keep coming. Have the loot inside the fort give a bunch of hourglass rep too. It can be a really cool way of unifying the regular game loop of Sea of Thieves and the matchmaking system, giving room for all the fun steals and tucks and special maneuvers that make their home in the shared world, but are lost in the straight ship vs. ship combat of regular hourglass. Maybe make it so regular world events don't lose their own "hub of combat" by having the loot given by these hourglass forts not give any gold or rep, just pure allegiance. Have there be a small number of loot too, so steals feel more impactful. You can write them into the lore by saying they forts are defended by say, the Dark Brethren, or some rogue Skeleton group, who have discovered an ancient or arcane secret that both Flameheart and Ramsey want secured. Justify interfighting between Athenas and Reapers by saying they're just pirates: they may work for the same side, but they'll all be damned if someone else turns it in instead of them! I think there's a lot of potential there, honestly.
Okay so after this video I am a bit more optimistic about the diving option. It's just cutting away the very start of your voyage. Yes you can dive away from a battle (I think) but that also means loosing your loot so that still sucks. And for the pvp's it is also good, now when you guys see a ship there is a mush higher chance they have some loot to take then they do not. And if you find it annyong they dive away well you still got their loot. Otherwise I would advice hourglass? You can’t run away from that so...?
@@jackbullandothers3322It probably isn’t listed on the video but Mike Chapman mentioned it on Twitter. I wish they would’ve talked about it in the deep dive
Ill never understand why people find the beginning so awful. Theirs plenty to do, from cooking to shooting off to get loot. Scanning the horizon to see who is around the area.
Unfortunately since some of the torso pieces have gloves which would conflict with rings I doubt it, but there are potential ways around so there is a chance
I haven't played in years but this games has given me so many memories with my 3 friends that I can't even find a close second as far as multi player games. I love seeing what they are working on. Thank you Rare for such a great experience.
Seeing all these quality of life changes, diving, world events on demand, higher tier loot, distinctions, new cosmetics.. I feel like this game is finally getting somewhere again and it makes me super happy to see that the effort into the gameplay experience has not come to a stop. Nothing was worse than sailing for 20-30 minutes just to get to a quest or world event and this change will also ensure a higher chance of encountering a crew in the open world that has loot on board. I am super happy about this. Thank you SOT team!
I know it's rather late in saying this but I only recently found out you teamed up with the folks who made Monkey Island. You have no idea how I felt running around Melee island for the first time in 1st person. It was a truly special feeling. So thank you.
This update will be perceived very differently in a few seasons when it becomes the normal way of playing! 💖 People are always wary of change but honestly, this is a huge QoL update and as they have said, next seasons will be focused more on changing the sandbox so what is not to love! Sea of Thieves is an absolute gem, this only allows new players to help experience all that it has to offer! 🏴☠
The Devs are always working on the Game and trying to implement new stuff and you gotta respect that! They actively try out new things and I love it even if it is not always that great or satisfying
Horrible mindset…”lets change things even if they don’t like it because they will just give up and accept it eventually and new casuals won’t know of the old ways at all” 😢 I’m genuinely scared for the future of this game.. it’s one of a kind and I don’t want to see the casual community ruin it.
My only problem is why are rings the only reward for distinctions, like give me upgraded emissary outfits or clothing options like an order of souls belt with a skull on it or a reaper masked outfit like the servant, the rings look nice but why would i get 500 levels just for 5 rings on my fingers
@@Project_415 I am more meaning clothing themed around the company's when getting the different distinctions like the emissary outfit you buy from the company's getting upgraded or clothing items themed around them, I know there are some in the game but it's only the costume separated I would like new versions of them, like a skull on an order of souls belt that could be upgraded from the base skull to a skull of destiny for example(thou that skull should be distinction 10)
I think the reason for rings is so you can see and feel your own progression at all times as the game is in first person, you can't see your pirate unless you emote. It's not supposed to be a showboaty thing but more of a personal accomplishment feel
I always liked the fact that the game entertained you in the way that there was always a bit of randomness of how long and what type the quest was going to be. And now it’s gone. Me as a player I don’t want to really choose the problem to solve, I want the problem to be variable a priori without me having to choose it. It was always a pleasure to see my quest wheel to be full of yet to be accomplished quests of different sorts, it really brought this adventurous feeling. And now what, you just have to start a whole new now valueless adventure with the need to choose it’s kind after each dug chest? Then how is that even called an adventure?
There is a ton of content that people never see because they just don't know how to access it. I don't think they need to completely hold people's hands but they've needed to do a better job at getting new players involved in things other than standard voyages for a long time.
The sails down, anchor down nosing into the island in the first 12 seconds tells me how this update is gonna go and what kind of players y’all are catering to.
i lost voyages i was keeping for 3 whole years man,i just wanted to keep that as a memory for beeing part of a event at that point at the game, now its gone forever (sorry if bad english)
idk why people saying they killed their game. their making this game better and this update right now sounds so much better . @seaofthieves yall are doing a terrific job keeping this game alive after years 👏
Diving to your exact location makes sailing pointless, and that’s not good at all. While doing a World event or just relaxing, someone could randomly surface right next to you which could be very frustrating.
@@dawipeach8948 From what I saw and could tell you cannot just dive and surface anywhere. When starting a voyage it asks if you want to sail or dive there. After that you have to sail or if you dive you lose the loot. You don't have the option to click somewhere on the map to dive to. Also they stated that if you're the first person diving to a world event, no one else will be able to dive there. They will have to sail. Also you cannot continuously dive after completing voyages without punishment, you lose all your loot if you proceed to dive. So you still would have to sail, either to the next thing you want to do or to cash in your loot. To me it just seems like you either didn't watch the video or weren't paying attention, because all of your worries were answered and dealt with in a good way.
@@dawipeach8948I don't get why it's pointless, it's only the initial sail that's shortened, you're still going to sail island to island, event to event for more treasures, then sail back to an outpost.
@@dawipeach8948 do you just sail to island, take nothing from then sail to the next, collecting no loot? Cos if you do literally anything else you will still need sail for all but one trip to one island
They did kill their game. Online, public multiplayer only sucks, is toxic, and generally not fun. Playing for hours to lose all your work, is not fun. Losing hours of your life because the server blooped, is not fun. This game, is not fun. Handing it out on game pass is the only reason this game was still played until Safer Seas. Check the numbers, SS doubled the player count. Messing with other crews, just isn't fun and those reasons are why people mass uninstalled. Online only kills games
@@SKRIM106 Because he didn't read anything about the update before commenting about it. No, this isn't removing unpredictability at all. You still have to sail around to complete your quest. And the rewards for diving are decreased, so you get more by just not even using the feature.
You can just not dive to the islands if u want that unpredictability, i honestly wanna see if people figure out new ways to connect thru the new quest table
Im very excited with the progression system and quicker sessions. Quick travel might feel weird at first, but ultimately will become become a part of the core experience
After this video, I don't understand people complaining about the Diving system. 1. As they said, it increases the chance that a ship you see has loot. 2. They can't dive until the activity is finished, so you can get the at the island. 3. If they dive away from the island, they lose the loot, and you can pick it up. That sounds unironically GOOD for PvP! At this point, I think most of the people complaining about this and Safer Seas are just salty bullies who don't like not being able to prey on and grief new players. BeCaUsE tHaT's tHe InTeNdEd ExPeRiEnCe! No. It isn't. The game devs, the people who MAKE THE GAME, are telling you that being a bully isn't the intended experience.
@zxx3762 I'm not? 🤣 As per my comment you clearly didn't read, I'm saying I think it's funny how people are complaining about a system that makes bullying harder. Fyi, you can just say "no you" when you can't come up with a good counterargument. People will understand.
There needs to be story content this season. So many of us love the world and story of Sea of Thieves, only for it to reach multiple climaxes without resolution and ignored for over a year. The QOL improvements are nice, but this is the third season basically only about game tweaks instead of content
They've gotten this comment on social media and have replied there, and also mentioned on the podcast: this is the final season where they are working on existing features/QOL changes. Season 12 will have new features, possibly new story.
@@Flaco_828 anti cheat is coming "hopefully soon" so hourglass PvP should be tolerable! Until then, hopefully we'll see some major contests with these world events
@fulcrum2867 We so agree with you, Rare needs to be making a lot more Tall Tales and content to explore the Sea Of Thieves Hopefully one day Rare will Make Safer Seas a true PvE server and have everything in it that is in High Seas with just PvP turned off.
well they have been saying that the next few updates are gonna be focused on the sandbox there were just some big things needed to be fixed and they have been working on season 11 for an entire year
Great update as always, Rare. Not only does this cater very well to the new sailors out there, but it's also a great bit of new rewards for us veteran captains! Thank you!!!
this is going to be one of the best updates we've had in quite some time, I'm beyond excited! the only things that could have made it better would be saving outfits and some love for the hunters, but I'm sure we'll get those eventually :p thank you for the amazing game, Rare!
I'm quite sad with the decision taken by rare with season 11. I get they want to reduce the boring part of the game, A.K.A sailing from A to B, and the part that would affect the least the experience is when going to the first place, but what makes me sad is that instead of looking at the sailing part and saying "okay, what we can do to make it fun" they decided to just cut it (Only the A to B, not B to A). I think this would have been a lot more constructive update if instead of just skipping the sailing they added things to do in the ship while sailing. Examples: Having plants and taking care of them, having board games, being able to scrub the deck to get off the moss or whatever dirty thing there is.
@@luizeduardoortizduarte4380 but why I would do it if its "not fun" and knowing there's a way to go directly to the fun part? I get that it would probably be used the first time when joining a game and then staying in that server until you want, but that take us back to my point, why not make the sailing part fun. This way it would be always rewarding, sailing from A to B and from B to A.
I am absolutely loving the pvp side of this update. Rare 100% has set our expectations as a split playerbase, Thank you rare for listening to the playerbase as a whole!
I've been playing since Beta and still love my Blackdog set, I'm so happy to have this game and play with my siblings and daughter. Thank you Rare for creating such a fantastic game
Seeing all this hate makes me just say that I actually love these changes and improvements, I know that this should be the last infrastructure update and I can definitely see it that way but still, I want to just look at all the new shiny loot. I mean, my friend hates the QoL changes, he thinks it makes the game too easy, I think it makes it a bit less frustrating and time-consuming. If they actually get back on the schedule made a few years back and we can see a Season 12 in April/May, I'll be able to say that SoT actually came back stronger. Can't wait!
People usually expect that a new, "season" will include new activities, world events, or areas. You know, actual content instead of just a menu/interface change.
Unfortunately I have a life and cant play sot 247 so i deeply enjoyed the fact i can load up with supplies and go straight to getting my loot especially for a quick solo game so this is a massive quality of life improvement and a strong foundation im glad the devs dident cave to fan pressure
Rare, I absolutely love these updates. I know on the initial content update video there was a lot of vocal hate, but remember that is just a very vocal over dramatic few. I def understand their concerns but a lot of their arguments were what they think would happen. (Like being able to dive from island to island but in reality you can only dive once to start.) Keep going and hopefully next season will be insane with the end of the “systems” updates!
Day one player here i just wanna say thank you for all your amazing work in the last 6year this game is one of the most amazing game i ever played in my life❤
I'm not too happy that I will have a bigger target on my back, I will not dive anywhere since I enjoy sailing. The simple pleasures! But, I suppose that is the life I choose the risk I take for the bigger payout outside of safer seas :) May you all find calm seas!
Yeah, because the world events are boring AF! Bosses are just bullet sponges and by reducing trash mob HP they are not even a challenge to fight anymore. The world events only really work when there's someone challenging you. Everything else is a repetitive farce and literally boring game design.
As an insider myself, it was a nightmare. You'd have 3 or 4 crews fighting over the same island for quite literally hours and the event wouldn't get done. It was just carnage. You don't want that every session!
Until they fix the hit reg, how unbalanced stuff like sniper blunder is, and how much of a disadvantage your at if they have a bigger boat then you, people don’t want to PvP unfortunately. That’s always been the number 1 complaint with the game, PvP is unfair for bad players who don’t get to experience the game because of it.
as someone who was pretty disappointed with the way SoT was getting treated, I am quite satisfied with the ideas and changes in this seasons. A great starting point!
Ngl, feels like nothing has been new sense season 7, can you guys add some new content instead of making it about missions and making the game easier? Add some more sea monsters, add some more islands, add sky city’s that can be accessed by launching from cannons or from climbing the crows nest. Add swinging a rope for boarding.
9:50 exactly the problem, your listening to the indsiders. Describes a great fun pvp battle, and how it wont happen for pve reasons. If your going to do this mechanic can you actually raise the server limits so we can find other players? it's like a ghost town these days. Wasn't the whole point of the safer seas to do world events without other people?
Right? World events are supposed to be contested. That's the whole point of them originally, to draw multiple crews to one point. That's why they gave more loot, because they had more risk. Now they're basically trying to make them just like another type of voyage with no fight to be had. Terrible change from a PvP perspective.
Despite mainly being a pvp player, I actually really like this update. Since sessions can be started faster and people can get into the action quickly, there will be less empty boats and more boats with loot to steal. Plus, being able to near instantaneously travel to sea fort to stock up on supplies is huge. Massive time savers.
As a solo slooper. Which is already hard mode. By sailing rather than diving. Brigs will just destroy us rather than being skill at scanning the horizon
i have 2000+ hours, Arena veteran. Max lvl in all companys. This is the best update i've seen so far. Amazing job guys! Reinstalling the game for this!
You've got 4 days left, the gilded athena voyages may be worth completing before the update. And while there is no direct improvement concerning the voyages you own, I do think this is gonna be a good update for the overall dynamic and loot to plunder
As a player with 2500+ hours, it's not about the levels but about doing something meaningful. I'd love to see reaper quests that would make players start dark rituals, while athena players would have incentive to stop them... or have athena quests that helps the world (like veil quests) but where reapers could intervene... Or to add incentives for trading companies to not attack each other and focus against reapers... Servers without reaper players would spawn special reaper events where players would need to cooperate for greater good (like claiming forts or something, but with actual PvE challenge and not just boss sponges) or chaos flows in. I think this game would really be more fun with player alignments (that can't be changed / can't change for the season) and having to do actions towards your alignment... SoT meets Fable would be my dream come true. Right now, no one cares how much xp you have, how much you played and how many players you sunk, 'cause it doesn't change a thing in the game world. I'm technically part of Ramsey's crew but couldn't talk to him about the imposter in "Dark Deception". I managed to sink enough servants of the flame as one of them to infiltrate the reaper's hideout... No NPC cares you're part of Ramsey's crew. I really wish NPCs where more alive and that the game world would be more about making a difference. Golden sands was awesome experience, but was really weird to not actually having reapers on server... NPCs would have added alot of life to it! Also weird: not being able to pledge for one side for the outcome.
Absolutely, more stuff like siren song. Player interactive global objectives. An event that isnt just an island. Its a voyage and an adventure not king of the hill forever. And voyages need to have better experiences that isnt teleporting to your islands or slowly sailing it doesnt matter its tiring. Either focus on pvp incentive and add global marks on the map or add better ai thats tougher than cannon fodder
this is probably the quickest ive arrived to a video i cant wait to get rank 100 in the factions (its about the gold, not the glory, goal hoarders for life)
Can I be honest? Anything that gets me playing the game quicker is good in my book. Gone are the days of sailing form one side of the world to the other only for that Skull Fort or Skeleton Fleet disappear before we can even get there. GONE are the days of managing voyages in a draconic and confusing sub-inventory! NO MORE confusion as to who has what! The captain and more experienced players guide the session for newer ones and new players get to unravel the quest build up in an all new streamlined way. I'll miss my little bundles of parchment and the unique "quest" on each table. I'll miss camping on a gally because we spotted their gilded athena's. But above all else im just glad the game has been iterated on and made more interesting for experienced players like myself as well as new players who don't yet grasp the full majesty of the seas
The only thing I wish was implemented in is the ability to dive to another voyage or event after completing a voyage in order to stack loot. I totally get it as to not be able to escape a ship battle without losing your loot, but I don’t like the idea of having to do just one event then go back to an outpost immediately, then dive again. I wish there was some type of proximity element implemented in so you can’t just dive to escape players, but dive again to risk stacking more loot, then going to an outpost when you’re satisfied with how much you’ve acquired on your ship.
So I’m a pvper for context I don’t quest ever so the new diving to quest thing doesn’t even mean anything to me. I won’t use it. But what I can fill you in on is why they can’t allow boats to dive with loot. What if I’m a reaper 5 that just loaded onto your server and I see you but I’m half way across the map? If you aren’t paying attention to your map then I have the advantage. I can’t get rng’d out of fighting you for your loot just because you finished your quest and dove to a new server. That’s not fair to me. I hope that made sense and helped.
@@andrewstubbendeck7571 I kind of understand what you’re saying, but not entirely. What the dev team is saying is that when you dive you aren’t diving to a different server right? You’re only diving to an island in the same server to spawn whatever event you want to complete.
@@andrewstubbendeck7571 My biggest gripe with this new ‘diving to quests’ idea is that when they’re implying is when you dive to an event, you can’t dive again to continue trying to get loot. So you have to go to an outpost to turn in your loot immediately right? There’s no way to keep stacking loot? Unless you can still activate a voyage and sail to it to complete it? That’s the part I’m not understanding about the update.
@@iiFever there is a way to stack loot. You just can’t dive to your next obj. Which in terms of stacking the loot you get from voyage based world events seems to be impossible.
@@iiFever no you are diving to a different server. Every time you dive regardless of what voyage you’re doing you go to a different server from my understanding.
Lets goooo! Can't wait to dive back into the game. This feels like the thing I needed to get my enjoyment back for the game. I love how the slower parts of the game get cut out and everything gets more streamlined.
I said this on the other video, but I have an idea: fleet battles. It is 2-3 ships on both sides, and it is only Reapers vs Legends. It would make it seem like the battle between the two factions is an actual war, not just a few attacks on each other now and then, and it could unite people in the same factions. Also, I would like to have an event where the Pirate Lord retaliates against the Reapers for what they did to Golden Sands, and the Legends try to destroy as much of Reaper’s hideout as possible to at least get rid of Flameheart’s resources, as it feels like the Pirate Lord doesn’t care that a major threat to the sea of thieves is resurrected.
Not trying to throw any shade, and considering I don't play much anymore, I have no room to talk. However, the idea of instant access to tall tales and voyages seems to somewhat defeat the purpose that fundamentally defines Sea of Thieves, and the exploration of the world that sets it apart from other titles. Nevertheless, if it works, it works, but from the outside looking in, it seems to moving further away from the roots that make Sea of Thieves so unique, and essentially, one of the greatest titles that we've ever seen. But, thats neither here nor there. Have little doubt that the games in good hands, as y'all at Rare have captured so many of our hearts over the past years. Thank y'all so much, and all the best for what's to come🤟
So many people forget this game isnt competitive, its a pirate simulator. So many people get so confused when every update isnt "we made a dedicated tdm / pvp update" like no they focus on the PIRATING part of this game. Its not like they dont either, hourglass and siren song both exist. You HAVE pvp voyages, as well as minor things like fotd, world events and veils, all global events. I think this update will be awesome, because it gives more reason to do voyages and not just stack fotd 7000 times
Well the PvP sucks and the gameplay loop is awful. Losing hours of my life isn't fun even in a fair fight, what level of cuck do you have to be to enjoy that. Safer Seas and game pass is the only reason people are coming back
I wish I had access to shorter sessions when I was new and had to share the Xbox with my younger brother, for like 30-50mins each. This is a good decision.
@@bluemutt9964 well once they have a distinction they're still over level 40, it just doesn't show that, or would you rather lose pirate legend if you use 2 distinctions because you're no longer level 50 on 3 companies
i am warming up to the diving mechanic. it's so good to see Rare continuing to evolve this beautiful game. i do hope there's some thinking to reward those of us who had to grind the game the old way (:
