Dang it woman, you're making me crave my Yaya's cooking and she's gone. She was a wonderful Greek cook. She and my populi owned and operated a small Greek restaurant in Chicago as first generation Greek immigrants. The woman had some knowledge. Unfortunately, I was too young during her best cooking years to learn her many secrets except for some basic recipes. That's why I really enjoy learning recipes from you. Thanks for taking time to share your techniques and recipes. 🙂
Absolutely amazing! Not only she teaches us amazing recipes but also teaches some valuable chefs tips! Keep the beautiful work! This will be perfect for dessert in this Ramadan! Btw beautiful girl you have!

You are incredible!! Your recipes are so delicious and you are always so warm and inviting! Can't thank you enough for sharing them! I grew up with parents who worked 2 jobs and didn't cook so I don't have many family recipes but now that I'm older I'm trying to learn and cook for my family and I made many of your recipes and they love them, so grateful for you and wishing you and your family all the best! ♥️
Γεια σας Δήμητρα ! I just discovered your channel and I’m obsessed with your videos :) I’m half Turkish half Greek (I know interesting combo lol) and I lovee both cuisines! and yes they’re called ‘midye baklava’ aka ‘mussel baklava’ in Turkish!
I don't usually watch dessert vids as I don't make them. I watched this one just to hear you pronounce galaktoboureko. Your daughter is too cute. Happy Easter to you and yours and tell Lil Miss that I say "Howdy Pardner" Yeeeehaaaw!
U r just FANTASTIC 🌟✨🌟⭐️💫 another must try recipe ✨ I did try ur eggplant feta spirals… they turned out delicioussssss.. they were sooo lite to eat. Stay blessed
Dimitra's Dishes. Thank you for your videos. I've made a few of your recipes, especially the Baklava. A friend of mine asked me about the Ramazan Pidesi Turkish bread. Is this Turkish? And if it is, had you made it? I would like to make it but in here (RU-vid) don't put the measurements. Please advise.
Think I had something similiar to these in Turkey, they were savoury and the filling was a green paste which I now realise must have been pistachio mixed with something else (maybe meat?). It was such a long time ago I can't remember much of the details except that they were extremely moreish. May just try this with the pistachios only to see how close they are to those that I had.
Where can I purchase #4 phyllo pastry? I live in Houston, Texas. I’ve heard you mention restaurants supplies/store. Do you have to be a business to go there?
Great video. However, I am surprised to see how many flavors you added to your syrup, while only one of them would be enough, or it could be done without any flavor too. But, I can understand the reason for the need of an extra flavor, when you use a pistachio with weak flavor.
