I just sourced the elusive SD500 booster adaptor for my 9mm handguns. This helped answer exactly how to assemble it and the piston on my Wolfman when it gets out of jail. The indexing part was totally unexpected. And the snap test. Those will come in handy. Thanks.

I’d love to see more about mounting options for the wolfman in rifle calibers specifically, you covered 9mm mounting here but I plan to mount mine on a 300 blk most of the time and a 556 occasionally.

Btw Mike, even though I’m still waiting for my Wolfman to clear I visited it the other day at Tennessee Silencer (sorry, shameful plug) and 3-lugged it to my PTR HK clone... It was sweeeeeet!!! To my ears it was better than my Omega 9K, Obsidian 9 and Octane 45... Cudos to Dead Air for a great can...

Can you explain the differences of encapsulaters? How some have lots of drilled and slotted holes and some have none at all. I assume one booster would work better then another depending on the can and blast chamber size.

Hi Mike, I could be halfway through the wait as I purchased in August, fingers crossed! So I have my subs and rifles on Key Micro brakes already, with KeyMicro adapter waiting for it's can. Now I've got the itch and want some threaded pistol barrels. Is the only option removing keymicro adapter and installing the booster? If so I understand as it's already a versatile system. Thanks in advance!

I have a Wolverine that I would sometimes like to run on my Glock 19. Can I use the booster/piston assembly on my can if I get the Hub Adapter, then the Hub-to-P Series adapter? Should I just buy a second can? Lol

My APC9k my trilug has 1/4 inch of play but it will lock up tight on my SP5KPDW. Don’t get it not sure what I can do about it, don’t want baffle strikes or point of impact shifts

Just curious im setting a pcc up with the key micro mount. Will it ever be available in other calibers? The micro brake now is only for 9mm correct?

you can shoot anything smaller than .38 through that break. We will have other caliber products in the future. Stay tuned.

I would like to know how to get the end cap off of my Sandman-S. I think a 500 pound gorilla with a 200 ft lb torque wrench put it on at the factory. It will not budge.

@@DeadAirSilencers I got it off. I put a few drops of Kroil on it and let it set for one hour and the end cap came right off.

Is it common to have some turning of your suppressor due to the piston? Mine turns a little left and right and it seems to be the piston isn’t fitting flush with the holes in the booster. I’m using a griffin armament universal cam-lok piston. It’s supposed to work on a wolfman which is what I’m using so anyone know if the turning will cause my suppressor to fly down range?

Yes, any piston can come loose under recoil. We recommend checking the tightness every so often just to make sure its good to go. We also recommend using some plumber's teflon tape around the threads, that can keep the silencer tight for longer.
