A dog isn’t a problem, it’s the owner that is. If you meant to say that the dog was the one who started the fight then yes but you should never consider a dog to be a problem
@@gigaboy981 I meant started the fight and yes the owner is the problem for letting her dog behave like that with basically no consequences. No Bad Dogs, Bad Owners
we have a pitbull and she is such a big baby. and would never bite anyone unless you accidentally hurt her when she is in pain or you provoke her. other then that she whines just to get under the blankets in the bed because she barely has any fur. pitbulls just get bad owners and raised wrong. but the right owner can make them a proud non-aggressive pupper (:
ehhhhh... if you're referring to the dog that kept following her everywhere and trying to "play" by jumping on her to the point that she went under the bench to try to avoid him...yea well he was actually kind of a jerk lol Its not how a dog should behave in a doggie park with other dogs. Dogs, like humans, run out of patience. Eventually some dog's gonna get fed up and check him. Its ok if he does it a few times while being playful, but his sole attention was on her and just kept poking at her. At one point even the owner of the pit was like "Hey, knock it off buddy" @7:34 . Imagine a guy you dont know comes to you and was like "hey hey hey hey, hey you!" and just kept bugging you until you did what he wanted you to do, then he begins the cycle again and doesnt stop, even when you purposely try to avoid him. Well its the same thing lol. He's not a bad dog, just needs to learn how to interact with other dogs.
@@nancyvandermeer4480 I never said she didn't lol. She was super chill and well behaved. Even when the other dog attacked her, she just wanted to get away from that situation.
Actually it tried to be dominant towards the pitbull, if you check the video again almost all the time is trying to be on top of the pitbull, thats a way of being dominant, but the pitbull had no plans on being submmisive
@@angelvazquez1042 the small dog was trying to mount cuz he was in tact. It was breeding behavior and it's really annoying in dog parks cuz it happens everywhere in every country and sometimes causes dog fights to break out cuz they try to do it to neutered males too.
Love seeing how well you and your dog interact at the dog park. This is what it should look like for having control at the dog park:) And she looks so happy!
Bless her she looked frightened not aggressive in any way! even though she has the power to easily overpower and correct the aggressive dog. Respect to the owner for bringing up such a pleasant pooch ✌
@@xD_cuRt being able to fight doesnt make that breed powerful, it's the power of the breed makes them more than capable of fighting, trained that way or not, so no not wrong, clearly not a dog person if you think they have to be brought up as a fighting dog to overpower and assert dominance✌
@@joemarron5515 agressive not dominant, has to be a submissive party for there to be a dominant one dude, but with them breeds alone yeah I'm pretty sure ✌
Very cool owner. Honestly the owner is so calm and its amazing for this breed. Its cool to see someone who actually knows how to care for the breed and train them.
Mhm very true! Pits are one if my favs, they are are just little chunkers! Very very sweet. One thing i have noticed, they are very very muscular dogs which kinda hurts when they think there lap dogs! Still love em
@@dylanjones4408 I think you mean to say it’s a bad owner thing that is self perpetuating and to continually blame the breed instead of looking at the quality of the owner is the issue
I love the fact when she ran up to the man, he was kind and actually trying to pet her unlike some people who are frightened to even go near a pitbull! Love the people who care about them! And also, great training, she is amazing!
@@taelicelisminlizkookhunlic5733 Bully breeds are the sweetest of all. If you or a piss weak dog is scared or intimidated by a friendly, happy bully then it's conditioning.
I would be scared as sh#×% after all situations seen due to bad owners. U right in the end it is a dog but some dogs are evil man. Respect and distance are the words that sound in my head whenever any unknown dog comes to me.
Who said Pitbull's were mean dogs, this is an amazing example of how nice, caring, and loving any dog can be with the proper training, family, and socialization. You are doing a great job with your cute dog, keep it up!
@@CodeineAbdulJabbar pitbull is not a songular dog breed, and many pitbull type dogs who are NOT pitbulls are grouped with them anyway, and small dogs attack people but are too small to do any damage.
and that's so important for all dog owners to do ... when your dog gets into an altercation stay calm ... your dog should be looking to you for guidance and if you're calm ...they will be calm ...
@@jesterchester8428 so you're telling me the owner of the dog purposefully put a camera on the back of the pit FULLY knowing an altercation was going to happen and expecting other owners to mourn the loss of their dogs once the pitbull entered the park so he couldn't make a scene about his dog getting attacked yeah that makes sense man
Just by their body language alone, your dog is incredible sweet, playful, and gentle. I've been around pitbulls all my life, and seeing more and more stuff about them being sweet instead of violent puts a smile on my face. It's not the dog, it's owner. Treat them with love, respect, and proper discipline and your dog will be sweet in return.
It's not a nuzzle lmao, it's a domination gesture. The aussie was trying to dominate and breed the pit. He was tryna dominate and smash lmao, it's not a sweet gesture😭
Actually, it kept trying to dominate the pit throughout the video (trying to mount her etc), luckily the pitty was patient and let it slide quite a few times.
I love it how well behaved your dog is. The other owners if the dogs in that dog park are obviously too stupid to notice that the dog was just going over there to try and stop the fight if it needed too.
people always stereotype pibulls being aggressive but this pitbull defended itself and backed up a dog getting attacked and was friendly to all the other dogs and one of the dogs came after the fight to see if she was ok
Too bad it’s not a stereotype. Pit bulls account for over 65% of dog attacks despite the breed population being less than 6%. They were literally bred to be violent and aggressive fighting dogs. Cute comment though.
@@captainfraser3827 aw, looks like I hurt someone’s feelings. It took me 30 seconds of googling to disprove that guy’s argument lol. Solid projecting though. Poor little guy.
Also you can tell the owner and his pit have a great genuine connection a lot of people lack that and It sucks bc sometimes the dogs suffer due an owner’s ignorance .
A sweet girl! Dog fights can be scary with how much noise they make; doesn’t help that dogs bleed a lot from small wounds. She took care of herself and only defended! I hope she didn’t end up injured!!!
@@andreabrooklyn6872 she was correcting him when he crossed boundaries. he snapped and made it an issue, if the pit started it she wouldnt have walked away so easily. and the other dog was tense anyway
@@andreabrooklyn6872 look carefully, the dog was fighting and approached her for another fight There’s a high chance that black dog was bought for Defense of owner and untrained. But this one’s clearly decently trained (that’s what it looks like) and defended itself just with a quick bite
Good obedience. Dogs can sense aggression. That other dog was already beating up on another dog when he arrived. I can understand his little snap saying back off as that other dog was attempting to size him up and stand over him. The pit got ahold of his neck for a moment and that was it. Then he heard your voice and went down.
They probably bought it for Defense and that’s what gives pit bulls bad reputation. Most pit bulls are untrained and bought by fools for protection, so they make them aggressive by their “training”. A protection dog would never act like the black one shown in the clip.
It sucks 1:35 he had to call his pittie to prevent other owners from getting scared of his pittie. We pit bull owners have to always go that extra step in training and obedience just to accommodate other people’s fears.
I was at the dog park TODAY and this pitbull jumped on and attacked this other dog. He almost killed him. Me and my golden doodle got the hell out of there! A different Pit bulls tried attacking and latching onto my dog like 2 weeks ago and I had to hit the dog in the head to get him off. Quit pretending like pit bulls are angels just because ONE pit bull happened to behave. Statistically, they account for 68% of all dog bite fatalities against humans and they’re also the most aggressive to other dogs. The only close seconds are Rottweilers and German Shepherds, and even these dogs aren’t as bad
I think it's pretty normal for people to be afraid of pitbulls. Don't get me wrong i like the breed but they can do some serious damage, i guess that as a owner of the breed you would expect people to be afraid.
@@dxbrasky Maybe because my wife’s leg got ripped open by a pit bull about 2 weeks ago, just a couple weeks after a pit bull went for the throat of my golden doodle. Maybe because it’s a biological fact that they were bred for fighting and evolved to be aggressive and dangerous. But sure, keep deluding yourself into thinking they’re innocent little angels. Hopefully when it bites someone, the victim isn’t you, your grandma (like the RU-vid video of the grandma’s throat getting gashed by the pit bull) or a baby (like the hundreds of babies killed by pit bulls).
This video just showed up on my list, and I just wanted to compliment you about your calm attitude and state of mind. Even when your dog got jumped you kept your cool and just took her back to a quiet place. No pulling, yelling, or whatever some people do to their dogs.
This goes to shows that the breed makes little difference (in terms of aggressiveness) if the dog is well socialised, trained properly and the owner is competent.
Actually Pitbull's can tolerate a lot and are even a very calm breed, it's literally in their nature, however people treat and train them wrongly resulting in the typical and negative image of Pitbull's. (which is utter bullshit because they aren't even aggressive to begin with, if you want a aggressive breed search up Chihuahua)
That's not true. Pitbulls are not dogs with superhero strength. Not even close to the strongest bite force either. People just love to demonize them and drag them through the mud.
Oh not my sisters pit bull Jax. He got bit by a golden retriever and he just cried and whined. He never bites back tbh he’d probably feel bad hurting the dog so he’d let him bite him. He’s kind of a dumb dog but we love him

Pitbulls are bred to fight and kill though. They also have a very High pain tolerance so comparing it to a normal dog like that isn’t really fair. The spotted dog was trynna hump her so she jumped trynna get him off in a playful manner then the other dog just leaped on her over dominance. Like that dog was on edge the entire time over toys as well. Very dominant dog.
When your dog meets the other that got into a fight at 3:00 you can see them reading each other and start challenging to assert who’s the more dominant dog. It’s cool actually. It’s like you can see them squaring up before it actually happens. If you hadn’t called your dog back, that other dog would’ve been prolly dead! Lol
Not entirely squaring up does not inmediately signify dominance, it is tension, which what tension causes them to be alertive to enter in either fight/flight mode
@@justapineapple2339 If that pit was being aggressive, the other dog would have been dead. It's as simple as that, pits won't give up, even if it kills them. They just have that instinct. It's just that the other dog attacked first, and the pit backed off as it has good enough recall.
@@shaneoshea6216 to be fair also to the other dog. if you watch at 3:15, the pit did lunge towards the other dog. The other dog was wrong for escalating of course, but both dogs were in the wrong.
