Thanks for doing this video. I was looking at that setup, on an open-air trailer I have. That way I don't have to buy a new trailer lol. Now to find a good lock box to bolt on the front of the trailer.
Are you going to hold the front down somehow? It would be nice if they had a quick attach of some sort to keep the front tire from moving. Nice video. Keep them coming!
How would the front tire move? The stand is attached through the axle and the stand is anchored to the trailer? The bike cant move forward backward or side to side?
I’m concerned that the front will bounce on the road, and could want to move side-to-side in turns. That would put a lot of strain on that stand and the connection points on the bike. Holding the front down with a ratchet strap will provide a three-point connection.
I understand your concern. Pitbull had a testimony, with pictures where a dude had 2 bikes in his trailer secured by nothing but the pitbull trs system. He got in an accident and the trailer was flipped upside down, when they got around to looking inside the trailer both bikes were still secure to the stands upside down inside the trailer. When I put my bike in there, it’s secured in gear, I’m guessing this guy did the same thing. It isn’t bouncing up and down.
@@johnknoxville6736 it’s not needed at all Mark I drove from Fort Bragg, North Carolina all the way to Seattle with two motorcycles attached with just the pitbull trailer restraint system. Bikes, didn’t move an inch over 3000 miles on the road. It’s hands-down the best way to secure your bike.
