I love it because it's such a wonderful mess. Even as a kid I was well aware how dodgy this game was and I loved it anyway. It felt like some dodgy 80s action movie that your Dad would hire out on a rainy day on holidays because there was literally nothing else open except for the video store.
I remember our local arcade having this game when I was six. Tried it a couple times. Luckily, the arcade ALSO had *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles*, as well as a little game called *Street Fighter II*, that for some reason always had crowds around it...wonder how that one turned out...
I remember this very well at the arcades, at the time it was the first time we saw digitized graphics, the intro cut scenes were awesome. A pionering game before Killer Inst & Mortal. 3 player was insane as you had to be carefully otherwise you'd end up knocking off one of the other players energy (this was done deliberately). Will always be remembered, plenty of fond memories - also had it on the C64, it did't come out for the SNES & Megadrive for a very long time.
Electronic Gaming Monthly and GamePro had previews of a planned sequel, called Pit-Fighter II, which the former magazine claimed was more than 75% finished and would be released for Sega Genesis in the fourth quarter of 1993. Kato, Buzz, and Ty were returning along with three new selectable fighters: Connor (Karate Champion), Tanya (Roller Queen), and Chief (Ex-bodyguard). Those are also three of the playable characters ultimately featured in Atari's subsequent game, Guardians of the 'Hood. Pictures show two CPU fighters, Helga (level 1) and Jay-Jay (level 2).
Well this game contains many elementss from the american culture wich is all about that, power,(dollars)money and womans, hence the ending. So even if this is stupid ,it should be respected to be based on (north)american culture!!!
It WAS entertaining. I think I was around 9 years old playing this in the arcade. I remember laughing often during gameplay. The "live action" effect made it all the more hilarious.
Y no volvera. :) Asi es como debe de ser.
I would had like than Buzz won the previous fight, to fight against the final boss like this: 6:52. Not like the embarrasing that Kato gave us since the minute: 25:24. At this moment (25:47) the final boss, smash Kato with a Triple Special Move, to the KoF or Street Fighter Alpha style.

6:32 Okay, he's REALLY doing that on purpose, if they didn't had unlimited coins (which is the only REAL way to finish the godarmnd game) that woulda been really dickish
With 1 player its possible to finish the game with just 1 coin. I've seen people doing it. With 3 players the game becomes a huge mess, you can hardly understand what's going on. I bet it's possible too, but you'd need a lot of coordination from players.
