The tape on the tire indicates its position on the car. Red might be front right while green might be back left or whatever there color code means. It also lets the guy changing the tire know where to put his hands when grabbing the tire. Makes things easier.
Fastest F1 pit stop is 1.8 and nascar is 8.45 Not even close, and they do vastly different things for very different cars. Stop trying to put other sports down and just enjoy yours without this pointless rivalry.
Got eeem bruv Lol Vastly different is a little extreem tho.. both crews are changing 4 tires and doing minor aero adjustments. While nascar does fuel, they also have the time to do fuel lol. Both have reasons to love and hate the sport but lets not degrade either one @griffina5192
I was wondering about the tape as well but does it mean what location that tire goes on the car because they have to set the car up for different tracks with air pressure depending on if the track is flat, left and right turns or heavy banking tracks

@@MiklosGorgenyiMost cars use a staggered setup, with different tire pressures as well. You just want every tire to go in the same place, so if your driver has an issue with the passenger side rear tire you can focus on that, not tweak all 4
Remember when nascar wasn’t lame?? Now they are trying to be like formula 1 and look like the road course cars instead 👎 long gone are the days of watching worth while races
