@DeanVlogs Not sure what you mean? How do you HEAR your other tracks while you edit in Melodyne? You should still hear all your tracks from the DAW playing along side this.
@DeanVlogs Something isn't setup right here. You should have Melodyne ONLY instantiated on the vocal track you want to tune. That way, nothing else can even run through melodyne. It just plays in the background.
@detroitsdeadliest It's not your mic. The 2020 is a great mic. It may be that you are doing some extreme edits with melodyne. Sometimes also the "s" sound can get a bit distorted.
None of this happens on my Melodyne Editor. The control key doesn't bring up the choices, selecting pitch edit doesn't show the boxes around the blobs, etc. What am I doing wrong?

Has anyone else had this problem? I have purchased Celemony Melodyne Editor 2 for my Macbook Pro laptop. After opening the package I then inserted the disc into my laptop, then, my laptop with the disc inside it started to make a loud humming noise for about 3 minutes before ejecting it out. I tried it multiple times, but the same thing just kept happening. The installation window did not pop up at all nor did any option to run the program, everytime I inserted the disc it would just make that humming noise, then eject. I have searched carefully on their website and all over the internet for troubleshooting or answers, but no information for the problem I am experiencing comes up. Id very much appreciate it if anyone could get back to me. Thank you.
@recordingrevolution Glad to hear everything's okay! I hope the same is true for your wife and daughter (I'm not stalking, I just go to your website, I swear! hahahaha). I'm well, I wish I could do more with music but unfortunately college and work is keeping me so busy. Actually, it'd be nice to know if you have any tips on how to effectively use minimal time!
Melodyne is the industry legend,the likes of Quincy/Jackson ,mariah etc ,i can send you a sample of antares ,which if done right sounds great,i have yet to find someone that can use melodyne to it's full potential ,hope this helps you chose
he is barely hitting a g, an a, a b#....i COULD see the notes he was hitting, i could also hear the aneurysm in my head starting to throb....this "vocalist" should be THE product sellers advertisment for their product....
