id say *some* of the blame goes on to the animal fans..... actually ALL the blame goes on them. Stewards are there for safety not to stop thousands of thickos running on fighting.
@@georgesheldon2137 yeah they dont do much, but then most are volunteers who are there to help people to their seats and general health and safety, why are they going to put their health on the line to hold back an angry mob?
lolz sqf actually it was all your fans that kicked off, yes our fans were taunting but who wouldn’t, it’s football ofc were gonna taunt your fans are just saw losers, not all of them are bad but it was very embarrassing for u
Plenty of MK fans crying on twitter saying medical room was full afterwards. There's a video from upper tier showing all MK fans running from about 50 stags fans
I'd rather Newport but I only want Tranmere up tbf I cba to get drenched at Bristol and Newport and Accrington next season, forest green we couldn't beat, Mansfield is a shit hole as well as where we live and Tranmere is good to get smashed on a weekend
@Calimari Club yeah I'm an Oxford fan but I like kind of near mk. There was posters everywhere in my town advertising the game and giving away ticket s
Great video guys very enjoyable to watch I was there a very intense game. It’s easy to say how can Mk dons have fans as they bought out Wimbledon who was for sale, the only local teams were Northampton, Luton and Watford. Most people in Mk support London teams Chelsea, West Ham, arsenal and spurs but with the MK Dons on your doorstep it’s easier to watch league football so the fan base is growing. It’s all about the love of football at the end of the day to watch a team who plays in your home town is no better feeling, Up the franchise
The reason why mk has little atmosphere is because they’re a new(ish) club and the chairman is trying to encourage kids to go watch to build a fan base for the future
"They look like yobs, not football fans" Says the guys who probably used to spent their weekends at 'Twickers' before realising 'footy' is cool a couple of years ago
Nice ground, for a fake club. Should have been made to start from the bottom, and made to work their way up like every other club have had to do. COYR🔴🏆🏆🔴
Callum Atkins exactly I’m a derby fan and I’d much rather go to an old ground like the baseball ground then our new ground pride park, it’s big and fancy but it has no soul and it’s in the middle of a retail estate while our old ground was in the middle of terraced houses railway tracks and a foundry
TheForest Ranger --- Every club has to start somewhere, and for your information a lot of old teams didn't have to start at the bottom, they were assigned divisions during restructuring.
CHEATboya* Which teminds me, how are your head injuries? On a serious note though, your season tickets must be incredible value. With all that added time each game you must get 3 or 4 extra games a season out of your time wasting
As an Wimbledon support as painful as if was watching mk franchise go up did put an smile on my face seeing Mansfields outnumbered support making fools out of mk at the end. Good luck in the play offs!
I was there - we were poor so MK deserved it but it should not have been all about the last game - we should have been home and hosed in April :-( . Well done lads - great video and a sensible approach to the "trouble".
MK fan here, and also a big fan of your content. I went on the pitch and celebrated as anyone would but sod the ones that went straight to the Mansfield fans and goaded them. This will live long in the memory for me and now I hope that Mansfield win the playoffs and come up with us. In terms of the atmosphere, it’s always loud behind the goal at our end but because it’s effectively a huge bowl of a ground you won’t always hear it. Also, if you want to do a non league game next season, please come to Winslow United! Thank you for your great videos 👍👍⚽️
I was there supporting dons. I’m 16 and the reason why it’s quiet is cause loads of people were there for the pitch invasion if we got promoted. There’s hardly any diehard dons fans so mostly it’s just 16/17 year olds getting £1 tickets who have never been to a game before
Die hard mk dons fan here was there for the game travelled from Coventry to watch the match was singing and making noise clearly just couldn’t be heard wasn’t there for pitch invasion but it just happened in the excitement
On thing I've learnt is that MK Dons ground is bigger than I thought, I remember going past it must be 20 years ago when it was a hockey stadium? Good intertaining video!
Mansfield fans would have given it large at the end even if all the Don's fans on the pitch were toddlers crawling around. It doesn't matter what age they were, they were just happy to celebrate their team going up, and the Mansfeild lads couldn't take it on the chin.
I wouldn't mind MK Dons if they dropped the Dons part and renamed to just Milton Keynes FC (or City, whatever they want) but their persistence on acting like they're the progression of Wimbledon FC is embarrassing.
Nice Blog you 3. Will look again. Assume you are Mansfield fans. Hope you win the playoffs, so you can play my team Gillingham next season. I support them from here in Berlin
I have no problem with mansfield even tho I'm a Notts fan. Sad fucking day we went down and a tin pot 'club' like mk went up. Wish you well in the play-offs.
@@Liofa73 where have I complained? We have been shit all season and that is down to our dickhead of a 'chairman'. I'm saying 'clubs' like mk are a cancer on our sport and a good club like mansfield and the other clubs in league two shouldn't have to compete with a fucking joke 'club' like mk 'dons'. If mk city had gone up against mansfield, I would say well done to them, get it?
Funny thing is, that’s the most people I’ve seen in the stadium, hardly anyone there when they played cambridge mid year, shows how many people just go for big games ay....
Had them in the FA CUP last year, and they used their team being a shambles in league 1 as an excuse for a 4k attendance, we took 8k in league 2 with terrible ownership, tinpot club
Nobody in my area left early. I think a few people in the section near you moved over a few blocks just before the end. They wanted a less stewarded area to get onto the pitch. We seem to get good results when you attend. Come back for the next big game!
Thought you guys were on your boycott? Oh no, you sold out the away end that time. See you next season and well done for staying up. I have no problem with AFC.
I moved to Milton Keynes 20 years ago and of course I support my local team. What can we do about the history, nothing at all. It's nice to go watch football with the kids in a really nice stadium. However what happened that day is so shameful. Really, MK should be much more humble about this promotion. A great shame. Now I have to notice, most Saturday the stadium is like 7,000 fans ? If we get to that number. So all these people acting like idiots surely don't know one thing about football and MK Dons. Milton Keynes is a new city, one day may be it will be a great football club but real football fans will need to fill the seats and not this kind of crowd. Credit to the young fans who filmed this and good luck for the play offs.
Wimbledon fans conveniently forget that Sam Hammam took them away from Plough Lane and his only proposals to get them a ground was to move to Basingstoke or DUBLIN (amongst other far flung places) and it was clear they were going to the wall. No one wanted to buy them .They had no ground and no assets beyond the players that they regularly sold. Winkelman thought a Football club would thrive in MK and it was there WFC went instead of Ireland or anywhere else. With the crowd at this game showing the potential, plus a world class stadium any team would be proud of (plus the off field uses it has making it viable) Winkelman was right about MK. MK are an easy target for old WFC fans as it makes them bury all the faults of the old club (not least being really poor support) and stops them looking at themselves and their old club as being a big part of the reason the club ended up in MK. At least the new club is building up steadily and moving back to a new Plough Lane, so at least the new crazy gang will survive where the old one simply could not.
Personally don't have a problem with MK Dons. It wasn't the fans that moved the club is it? They're hardly glory hunting either, I mean it's MK Dons after all.
Problem will be that nobody will want to do a steward job. No stewards = no game. Pay stewards more money = higher ticket prices. Higher ticket prices= fewer fans. Fewer fans= no game.
Personally being from the Midlands myself, I would've wanted Mansfield to have been promoted over MK Dons. I don't really know, I just don't see them as a real club.
