A gravel layer is transforming the pitch area as work continues to build up the playing surface at Everton Stadium.
Four months after underground works and utility ducting began on the pitchside surrounds - and the original piling mat used for vehicular access was excavated - contractors have steadily built up the necessary layers to create a world-class hybrid SIS grass surface.

She truly is stunning, a perfect replacement for Goodison it's something that matches the NSNO motto that for so long we don't aspire to any longer. The Michael Jones tribute is perfect I hope it does his memory proud and hope we do too.

Looks great. I only went to Goodison Park once, in 1981. It was quite impressive compared to many grounds at the time, including Maine Road. Time moves on.
