DUDE i was saying that all match, seemed like every episode that guy was clutching it out, even had a foot recieve like Nishinoya's at one point. So surprised he didn't get some recognition
For those who didn't catch why that twin minus tempo quick was particularily nuts, it was ultra wild because the one who set it was the spiking twin and the one who spiked was the setting twin hence why they "twins minus tempo quick reversal", since the roles were reversed.
@@alexanderalejandre9897 i think he said that to show just how insane osamu(the spiking) twin is. To be able to set a minus tempo in the middle of a game after only seeing it ingame and to pull it off is insane and not even being a setter on top of that
Yachi was REPRESENTING. That’s how stressed out I was watching this match. I felt that ‘Nani kore’ deep in my soul. Baby girl and I damn near got a heart attack lol
Hinata season 1: actively swallowing his soul when Suga asked him if he thought Kageyama was the best player Kageyama season 4: would rather DIE than admit to Hinata's face that he made a great receive 😂😂😂😂 peas in a pod
@@lornemalvo1661 It was good build up for season 5, also had emotional moments from both teams, let you know what's to come and how every player feels whe they lose to win, cause you got to remember, they just school kids, really humanises them.
In climbing, a piton is a metal spike that is driven into a crack or seam in the climbing surface with a climbing hammer, and which acts as an anchor to either protect the climber against the consequences of a fall or to assist progress in aid climbing.
If anyone is wondering why they were so shocked. We all know Hinata as the jumper who had only one thing to his name after see that they realize there is more to him
One of my favorite parts of this show is the pacing. Hinata has worked so fucking hard just for that one receive. It wasn’t some anime bullshit where they train for one or two episodes and get a power-up, neither did he just become a fucking god at receives after nailing this one
what i gather from the comments of manga readers, he actually becomes some kind of god next match, so your comment may not be completely accurate. or im misinterpreting the comments.
@@Charley-ju6yg the most common statement i come accross with is “ just wait till the next match (which would be nekoma), hinata’s development (skillwise) is insane”. My take is he gets really closer to the white haired little giant (sorry forgot his name) in spawn of a game (or two games if we count inarizaki). And from the little we ve seen of white little giant in the anime, its safe to say he was reaaaally good and far ahead of hinata. A gap unlikely to close in 2 matches. Ofc it is just my interpretation. Though i agree with you, writer is really consistent so im pretty sure it will happen in a way that makes sense.
@@lornemalvo1661 ah, I see. Well there really is no doubt that he were(or is at the moment) multiple levels ahead of Hinata. I hope he won’t just catch up to him, but I would want him to get a little better before facing him, if they face off. Things I couldn imagine him getting better at is; 1: blocking since we already saw some block improvements here that was more about placement than instantly getting more skilled 2: his jump, since once he’s started to get better his muscle memory should make it somewhat consistent, so him getting a higher jump by changing his jumping technique would work too And 3: still getting better at receives, just not like, Nishinoya good, that would be ridiculous. Because he’s got his eyes and started to get the timing down in this match, he could definitely become a noticeable better if it’s handled will which I trust the writer to have done That’s about what I can imagine he improves upon since I doubt he’ll get like a jump serve or anything like that, but I’m sure the author will surprise with something we would never expect while keeping the consistency
@@Charley-ju6yg no spoilers of course, but as a manga reader the battle of the garbage dump is really well paced in terms of his growth and he does become a demon. It will all make sense soon enough
Ngl the editor made me spit out the water i was drinking at 9:30 😂. That used to be me in the comment section but i've gotten used to them doing whatever now 😅
Oh let’s go, I’m kinda sad it’s almost over but every episode from now on is S tier at least, also we got Parasyte and re zero still so I’ll be fine. Hinatas Receive was so good he made my man give a whole speech about it and made another one doubt what the laws of probability are.
THE GOSHIKI EDIT LMAOOOO man I've been so sad they cut out most of the miyagi teams reacting to the match at their own schools bc it means we didn't get to see goshiki get his personal space taken over by his senpais but this honestly made up for it lmao
i’m sorry y’all but if i comment anything while they watch this season, it’s gonna be about miya atsumu. HOWEVER, this episode is the exception, because i swear i almost cried when i saw hinata get that ball up the first time. and i really felt it when the team was tired, this is why haikyuu is one of my favorites.
Hinata was in base position. After serve you go to right back or left back or your own side. He wasn’t told to do defense by tsuki he was just playing his respective zone.
I don't know about the others here But I certainly like all your reaction Even laughing in emotional situations All those pipz be salty all they want I come here for your laughter I come to others for crying You're group just stay as you are guys More power!!!!
I don't know if you already know this by now, but the part where you asked if you could do the double set/toss the scene before hinata's receive. Remember that in volleyball you are only allowed to pass the ball three times, so the first set was basically the first touch, then the second toss was the second touch making ojiro aran's spike the third touch
I remember the first time I saw that, I cried. What a turning point for Hinata 🥺😭🎉🎉 we forget Hinata started volleyball so much later than everyone on his team and most of his opponents. He also had no formal training, coaching or a real team until this season we are watching him in. His vast amount of growth over this season is phenomenal.
Everyone is shook this is literally the first time Hinata did a recieve with his arms and on one of the top aces of the nation. Even people who don't know him is like omg he didn't use his face look at this growth 😂.
Fyi: The ball can only get three touches once it's on your side of the net. So, if you are not able to spike it within those three touches, you just have to return the ball to the other side.
What's crazy is that they foreshadowed the crap out of "the moment" for most of the season, but even knowing that it would eventually happen, it still came out of nowhere and shocked everyone (myself included).
Fun fact about Inarizaki's #14 Heisuke Riseki (spoilers) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . In his 3rd year, he won the Best Server award so he came a long way.
