A total shame he got a Grade 2 MCL sprain. He needs to stay healthy, He's such a talent. That's what halted JJs career - being banged up so much!

@@JimFox-vm9rx If it were a regular season game, they'd sit him. Since it's the play-offs, they'll send him out there in a brace if he thinks he can go. Just having him there to account for helps the defense, even if he's not 100%.

Was in person at the game, conditions were absolutely terrible, about 30°, whipping wind and pouring rain, respect for them even being able to catch anything at all

Both sides really cause even Mason was 3rd string couple weeks ago, both Steelers safties out, Fitzpatrick injury, Kazee suspension and then TJ wasn't there down the stretch

The last two years The Ravens had more starters on IR than ANY team in the NFL. It is what it is. This year top two RB's, and Pro-Bowl TE on IR. Every team has some guys out because of injury. We had practice squad guys at RB (Gordon - who fumbled), and WR (Treadwell), LB (Jeremiah Moon), DB (Andrew Adams), and TE (Ben Mason) on the field. These players haven't seen action since the preseason. That doesn't count other guys who are rookies who saw first meaningful action (Trenton Simpson), etc. It was a preseason squad for Ravens.

I agree that Tomlin is amazing, and has been for almost two decades straight. But Russel Wilson at this point looks like more of a burden than a reward. And at 35 years old I don't think he can still be considered a triple threat QB.

In Pittsburgh. I am happy for Mike Tomlin -- he's a quality coach (a winning record every year for 20 years is remarkable consistency of which to be very proud) ... and he has endured some grossly unfair criticism this season. He's a future Hall of Famer and I have great respect for him. That said, I'm very disappointed in the Ravens for NOT playing their starters. I UNDERSTAND the "strategy" of giving your best starters essentially 3 weeks off to heal "bumps and bruises" and "get fresh" before engaging in contact football again [this past week of practice following the Miami game, this upcoming week ending in NO game/a bye, and another week before butting heads in contact with an opposing team during the second round of the playoffs ... BUT I still view it as UNSPORTSMANLIKE "laying down" which provides one team [in this case the Steelers] an easier path to the playoffs AND furthermore, it does so unjustly AT THE DIRECT EXPENSE OF OTHER TEAMS FIGHTING FOR THE PLAYOFFS. Pittsburgh deserves to "get Baltimore's 'best shot'" by facing the Ravens' starters and EARNING a playoff spot by beating Baltimore's best shot ... and the other teams fighting for a playoff berth and seeding deserve to have Baltimore give Pittsburgh "their best shot" by playing their starters as well, so that the game's outcome (and impact on the playoff picture) is more "honest" and "legitimate." I would hope that the NFL itself would also have an interest in preserving the "integrity of the game," ensuring that truly the "best"/most deserving teams qualify for the playoffs by having to face ALL teams exerting their competitive best in all games (including playing their starters). Unfortunately, this issue and problem is nothing new; it happens every year. I wish the NFL could/would do something to prevent it -- perhaps something like PROHIBITING teams from sitting out starters who aren't significantly injured ("injuries" to be verified by INDEPENDENT NFL physicians) and allowing 8 teams from each conference to make the playoffs (long overdue in a competitively balanced league with significant parity) ... and in exchange, the "bye" week for "only 1" team in each conference should be eliminated (it's too big of a competitive disadvantage to the other playoff teams -- especially when teams do NOT play identical schedules); instead, ALL playoff teams should get the first week off to recuperate a bit following the season before the playoffs start for ALL playoff teams. The #1 seed still has plenty of "advantage" by getting to play ALL games at home as long as they remain alive in the playoffs, AND getting to play the lowest surviving seeded playoff team in every round. THIS season the Baltimore fans might not agree, but in future years where the Ravens aren't the #1 seed they will. @@deebo_dee
