In Cambodia where these people live, it is illegal to keep a wild animal as a pet, there are no permits for wild animals and there are no monkey rescue and rehab centers permitted in anyone’s homes in Cambodia. What that means is that these captors are running an illegal operation. With no permit, she cannot bring this monkey to a licensed veterinarian because no licensed vet will treat an illegal pet. No permit = no treatment and that’s what this predator has sentenced Donal to for the rest of the short life that Donal has remaining. What she did do is brought Donal to a fake vet in a fake vet clinic who performed a procedure that did not go well, she had to bring him back to the fake vet because he wasn’t doing well and he is left with scarring on his face. When the predator purchased a newborn monkey from a black market poacher, the monkey is now sentenced to life of no professional medical veterinary care. Welcome to the illegal pet trade. The abscess most likely came from a cat scratch. A cat’s claw makes a small but deep wound and it is hard for it to heal correctly. Must have antibiotics.

Poor baby you can tell by looking at his eyes that he doesnt feel good. That poison from the abscess will good into his brain that will cause him to die if you dont get antibiotics for him as soon as possible. Its extremely critical that he get medication ASAP!! One thing I noticed is that this captor does fake grooming. She repeatedly pulls the hairs on the monkey’s fur, but that’s not how it’s done in the wild. In the wild they’re actually looking for ticks and bugs down at the scalp / skin that they can get rid of. She doesn’t, she just pulls hair, which is fake grooming to make it look good. That’s not good care.

You know better and hold baby donal right way (if you know how) and feed it correctly so the baby monkey doesn't vomit up the milk.
