NOTE: - Group For Accessories, Each Type slot (Ring, Earring, Necklace, Belt) Have Different Group even have same type and same enhancement level - Group for Blackstar between Armor and Weapon is different group, they just have same number pity for each enhancement level
And made failstacks nearly completely useless. I thought they would at least deduct 50% of the average times with Failstack from that arbitrary number they would choose. Like 40 - 9 = 31(18 / 2 from 250 fs) Though some of my friends thought the pity system would be 10 times higher lol That's how little faith people have im pa.
@@joshanonline fail stacks is still needed to get the success without filling the agris essence. Essentially, they just added a max attempt and grant you a guaranteed enhancement if you reach max attemp. Back then, some struggles and tapping can go as 50 attempts and still fail. Pyschologically, those who burn the money and fail the attempt usually take a break or quit the game.
idk man, i feel like if you get pen bs in under 40 clicks i'd say thats actually pretty lucky lol i thought that the number was going to be much higher, so this is a really nice addition
Chris, perhaps I missed this but can you help out with this scenario? You click from tri to tet blackstar, you fail and now have 1 pity. The next click you go, it hits tet and you fail pen, so back to tri. Did the 1 Pitt get consumed or will it still count as 1/40?

This will change the game a lot, but for me as someone who hates this stupid luck-based progress it's great. The retroactive application back to Jan 1st 2024 is HUGE 😱😱😱.

I went 1/130 on pen blackstar a few years ago, I complained every day we didn't have a system like this. Now that they added it even if I have all my gear I'm glad because it makes the game better at the end of the day. Like if I were to say they shouldn't make the change now it's just gatekeeping. It is quite unfortunate we didn't get this like 6-7 years ago though. But alas, it will hopefully keep people from quitting the game. Seriously how many people quit the game at 60 pen blackstar fails? I have seen many quit over failed enhancements and this new system will basically prevent that. Every attempt you do now has value and even failure adds up.

does deboreka necklace have the same group as other yellow grade necklaces? like ogre/sicil/tungrad necklace? so if i fail 19 times a sicil to pen and the switch to deboreka neckalce it will be at 19/20?
they should also do this for drk rift chests....after opening say like 40 of em....u get a 100% loot chance @ tri r higher on the nxt drk rift chest....cuz i yet to get a dou to this day....
Yeah, this sounds nice but has a bad side to it. Human psychology will now push people to keep enhancing to those absurd costs. It's like crossing the desert to find the oasis 400 miles away but you 'unlive' (can't say the D-word anymore) in 200. Basically, this is for the VERY unlucky people. I've been unlucky, but those numbers...I never reach them. Because I, like many smart people, go a little past the average then quit and buy the item lol. Some items do get stuck. For this very reason, Tera had to make a failsafe stacks too. On items that most people would work in less than 10 tries, some reached 5000 fails.
i hv new method to enhance pen debo now😂use cheapest yellow tet acc to enhance 19times with 0fs then I use 19fs to enhance pen debo with 100% succeas rate😂
i tested it on my own, every accesory have their own group for example if you enhance a pen Tungrad neck and it fails, it doesnt have a pitty fail on a ogre @@UnholyGOD0

Damn I got it in (12) tries which was my longest pen of all my tries. Of course I pray to the RNG god daily AND I have small altar that I place small crescents rolls on it. It works!
The chance factor is the last thing that avoiding easily prevent quickly p2w players , it wil getting easier to reaching 700 gs if you have enough money after the update
@@ChrisPolibdo well it's change a bit now player with money can force that pity system by spending money and guarantee got 100% with pity mean while normal player get what they want more easier too but cannot force with money to max out pity.
@@ChrisPolibdo if they add pity to every enhancement item people that use reblath to make stacks will never be able to make the larger stacks... Example say it takes 10 clicks to get the pity 100% enhancement to go from duo-tri or whatever because the pity is bound to that item type at that level it's gonna succeed. I suppose plan ahead and just use a crappy stack when u know it's gonna go. Also does that mean at 100% pity chance I don't have to use a stack at all anymore? Can use a zero for pen fallen god and save my 500 stack for something else? it's gonna mess up stack building alot
I predict that this pity system will cause the price of memory fragments to skyrocket, unless PA reduces or removes the loss of maximum durability that results from failed enhancement attempts.

As we can see now PITY work for BS weapon and armour all together. That means u can stack pity on your BS armour using 0 stack and 1k CRON and when it is full pity -> 100% enchance weapon. That leads to conclusion that BS will now NEVER cost more than 117.6 BIL (if vendor crons). and 62 BIL if cosume crons LOL

That means that if I take BS armour and pity it 40 times -> I can swap to Weapon and 100% enchance it using pity from stacking on BS armour? And to stack pity on armour it is cheaper as it is 980 CRON/attempt compared to 3.7K on weapon.

I personally think this system is gonna be a bit broken because of the failstacking system, if we consider this pity system, you can literally save up the failstacks the time you hit the pity
hahaha even using 0 FS you can use Pity system to get those next enhancement level, but.... don't depend on this one, this is not make our enhancement more easy but just ensure us to get those Next Enhancement level
Ancient Anvil without cron stone support is a joke. I enhanced my sailing coat today, it never could past II, bcs it cannot use cron stone for preventing level drop. I hate enhancing in BDO.
40 x 3600 at 3mil a pop = 432billion, a pen blackstar is around 100bil silver what a fucking joke cron price needs to be reduced to 1mil a pop to make it not wildly incorrect price wise

keep PO any Outfit that sale each week, also keep active to attending any event, also focus your silver to get cron from Blacksmith also become end game content for most people out there to enhance gear
@@ChrisPolibdo I’ve saved 40k for the pity system but I think it’s 40 attempts at 5k per go that’s 200k stones per item. I have check when it comes to live severs thx for the video it take awhile to figure it out. I have a lot BS gear that needs 1 or 2 more levels to max still going to be hell
good way = you can reach end game content more faster bad way = lot of veteran player will quick boring play this game because no need much effort anymore for reaching end game content
