My boy killed it, finally an original freestyle to this song. Most people jack Smidget's routine (which I fuckin' love by the way) but it's nice seeing someone do something different to this. Nice job!
This should absolutely be an opympic competition. It's a literal technical performance as well as artistic. It's technical because you either hit those pads or not. However, how you go about hitting those pads at the correct time, that's the artistic interpretation. I'd watch this over floor exercise any day of the week.
@@dragonbladeice I don't remember the exact name of the project but some one/group made like an open source DDR/PIU styled PC game that let you program the move set and songs. This was like years ago and the project if I recall correctly utilized some of the game pads from 360 consoles and I think they had it so that it could have multiple pads hooked up. Definitely super niche but the feels.... :-)
I feel like this, freestyle dancing and all this layback chill in the music, is what PIU had originally created the game for. Until it became a speed craze. Lol
The two couples in the background are my friends so they seen me do my freestyle before. The person on the side though was shock since it was his first time seeing me lol.
Why have I watched this somethin like 127 times n I’ve yet to b sick of it… Your freestyle rips. Rides. Whatever the lingo peeps use nowadays.. Seems that you’re gliding in your steps. Almost not touching the floor in which you’re dancing on…. Love this!!
not sure how I ended up here, but man great moves you look so fun to hang out with! I hope we can return to normal life soon so everyone can go out and have fun again like this... rough year it has been.
Thanks for the love. I used to play Pump it Up back in 2001 to 2009. And this song was so much fun to freestyle because it was simple and fun to at least do it. Our arcade was in front of a dance club for teens and us folks used to get made fun of doing things like Crazy songs or even doubles. Some of us loves to freestyle and some of us loved to push ourselves to be fast to be made fun of. Im very glad pump it up is still alive today and the community is striving. Much love from Georgia USA. Also, I loved how smooth you were on the bar slide as well as the way you were confident in your moves. I never did stuff like that. But you were a smooth criminal as we liked to say in our arcades. Someone who wanted to just dance.
Thank you. I've been playing for years and I know what you mean about when people use to try and make fun of me for playing PIU when I was younger. I do not know when it happen, but people now of days enjoy watching people play PIU (at least where I've been going now). Thank you again still.
I swear i saw this same routine in mexico around 2005, done by a couple of people at different arcades. I always thought it was like tiktok is now, just one person coming up with something original and the rest copying them 😅
@@dragonbladeice well when 2021 figures a way to eliminate the virus then maybe make a new routine video of PIU Caution. I'm binging it and seriously dude, keep doing these and maybe you'll become famous over it.
Me famous lol but that’s for the kind words. I play PIU for fun and help teach people now and then. Other than that freestyle keeps my healthy and somewhat fit.
Nice playing style, and I like that crowd building up. Do you also gain more crowds by playing hard songs like Yog Sothoth and boss songs like Paradoxx?
If I get done doing a freestyle and then do a hard song I keep the crowd watching still. If I just do a hard song I have people come over to watch also.
The one in the blue hoodie is me; the guy in the green hoodie is one of my friends and the guy (Black shirt) & girl (Pink hoodie) are also my friends. We all play. The green hoodie does some freestyling also and the other two do more speed play.
