European Black people are basically Africans 1st generation 2nd generation, Black Americans are a mixed breed and entirely different culturally than Black Europeans 1
As a black woman, this episode needs to be shared around the world. Black girls and women go through so much. Malcolm X said “The most disrespected person in America is the Black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the Black woman. The most neglected person in America is the Black woman.”
Not like this it's a trend now people are actually making money to dump on black women all day and I think u should know that by now 😊@@truthbtold8697

It's hard, when we get serious about life improvements it's a problem, they want us poor and broke and popping out kids to help the next trump get elected, so many white politicians made millions from doing this very thing aka Newt Gingrich is one of them and yes I'm older so I know.
As black man, I say not all black women are the women they’re describing, and everyone needs to be held accountable… I don’t believe in imaginary pedestals
Thank you young men for bringing to the forefront the struggles and strengths of Black women. I am 71 years old and men of my generation very seldom denigrated Black women as some men of this generation . We had the same issue with lack of males in the household but most males of my generation understood our challenges as Black people and tried to respect and support each other. God Bless you.🙏🏾

These women make themselves look bad. Don’t blame men.!! What the wear how they act and the respect they show themselves ain’t at level that’s respectable so men shouldn’t force respect on the same women who used to SCREAM LET US DO WHAT WE WANT, equality.!! And this what y’all did with it…. #Ratchet
You know what’s crazy. I’ve never come across a channel with black people obsessed with white, Asian, or Latino relationships. But everyone else has shows about black relationships 🤣🤣 the world is so obsessed with the black experience
Not just relationships but black people as a whole.. im biracial…i get more hate from blacks then whites but ill say man ehite people love talking about black people for no reason
Effing never, my love. All we want is to be left in peace. I have never said. Oh, let me see what becky, ling ling, or Maria is up to today. They are NOT in my head because I don't care
Actually that's not true these black folks in here talk about white people all damn day about how oppressed they are what the hell are you talking about😅
Please bffr about it being uk black men. This is an issue across the diaspora. Every bm platform covering this that can’t just say Andrew is racist and they’re wrong is really pandering.
Black men do, y'all just hyper fixate on celebrity black men like Chris Brown, Kodak Black, Lil Wayne etc and those men don't represent the majority of black men.
Ryan hit the nail on the head. They feel comfortable disrespecting BW because they see BM doing it. We were always on the front line for BM but the tide has changed because we've been too disrespected for far too long.
Oh stop! Why are you thanking him? Do they ever thank us when we defend them or so they just move like that's what we're SUPPOSED to do? So we don't need to pander. A simple head nod is fine.
@@AndreKing4 you’re being too vanilla with your perspective. Andrew won’t say certain things in front of certain people. He knows better. There are more ways than violence to challenge someone’s point of view, like intellectual debate.

He's too comfortable saying what he said in front of black men. That demonstrated a lack of respect for the guests and their families. He knew those two wouldn't check him about the racist and disparaging comments. Thank you brothas for addressing this issue and not dismissing your wives, mothers, sisters and daughters' plight to exist and navigate in a patriarchal world as a Black woman. I have plenty more but I know you’ll likely say CRT!! That’s why I say what if it is a lie?!?
Context, context, context! This is in NO WAY a defense of Andrew Shultz. I have disliked him years prior to this incident. Andrew’s podcast is called FLAGRANT. I thought flagrant meant bold. But to be sure I looked it up. Flagrant means obviously wrong, obviously offensive. These UK brothers went on a show they were unprepared for. Andrew’s show is obnoxious and offensive on PURPOSE. When you go on his show you better be prepared to talk sh*t and challenge him. You gotta be like Aries Spears and Godfrey. Aries and Godfrey will laugh but the will check someone like Andrew. Fuhad and James folded. Update: Fuhad and James were never gonna defend Black women because they don’t like them. I just saw one of their older videos. In the video Fuhad tells James a story about him watching a Black tv show with a particular yt girl. The yt girl notices a Black actress on screen and says “I want to be her.” Fuhad questioned, “What?” The yt girl replies , “I want to be Black.” As Fuhad tells this story James chimes in “Jesus Christ! To which Fuhad replies “It’s mad isn’t it?” James responds again with “Jesus Christ!! Then James says, “If she WERE Black she couldn’t GET a Black guy.” Both Fuhad and James laugh at this statement. Then James makes this comment about the yt girl. “She’s white!! She’s already WINNING!” Fuhad smiles. Okay then.
Absolutely not! We will not excuse what he said because his show is "bold" and meant to be offensive. Black people are so disrespected because we commonly excuse/dismiss deliberate racism/sexism/ignorance/hate towards our people. You dont see him making offensive jokes about jewish women and you know why? Because they are a protected group and the backlash would be swift and unified from the jewish community @@user-ej8mv5qm6n
Per my photo, I’m white/Puerto Rican and my wife is black and we’ve been happily married for 15 years and counting, and I truly truly truly truly hate these stereotypes of black women. Number one, it puts black women in a monolithic viewpoint and is dangerous, especially when others who are listening DO NOT have the common sense and just believe whatever they say because it is funny and they are trying to make a joke. I bet Andrew did not make that joke about white women.
thank you for this! to see a group of black men that are loud and proud about us is so refreshing! you men have no idea how much these kinds of videos mean to us! thank you for seeing us and protecting us
This is why I watch you brothers because yall stand on your blackness and will not allow people to talk about our black women in a negative way and not be checked. ✊🏾✊🏾

@MR.CHARACTER23 don't fall for stereotypes. Be genuine. Be as kind and respectful as you'd want someone to be with you. Cherish her. You get out of it what you put into it. Andrew has clearly been rejected by a black woman before and he still has feelings about it. He's lashing out so his rejection doesn't feel so bad. I see men head over heels gushing about their black wives all the time. Andrew is just bitter.
@@MR.CHARACTER23treat them with extreme caution as the vast majority of them don’t have respect for men. They see men as a way to a better life for THEMSELVES! I am sorry, i dont know the names of any of these men, but the man who talked of his mother and wife and his experience with black woman ....The love he has for the woman who raised him and the woman he married is just so beautiful and powerful.
I hope they read this comment frfr. I’m a black man and I don’t see the issue here. We praise men like Tyler Perry and a multitude of black comedians for living in the space of portraying black women as “ratchet”. We made them view us this way so why we big mad now. Martin acting a fool portraying Shananae was funny right?
These are the same men that called Russell Wilson a lame because he loves his Black wife. They are pandering to get back in the good graces of the community, especially the light skinned dude 😅
Boy you ain't lying, ir was all jokes when they were joking on Russ for no "real reason" . Nobody once stepped in an spoke on his behalf, but now it's protect black women over some fucking jokes

Is the black woman not combative? She even says you have to be strong to deal with her.. People like you and these guys are the reason most of yall have to tolerate bs from these broads. Lol
I love that last line. "I refuse to give him that joy." Because it's true. Both him and the South Asian comic delight in angering folks with their derogatory racist tropes. Andrew really didn't need to speak on the issue. Even less so when he lacked an edgy, sophisticated take on it. Cheap shots aren't necessary.
Why am I clapping so hard in my car. I had this convo with my fiancé this morning before I saw this clip. We are always pouring in but we leave empty. When can we get poured into?!? Thank you, gentlemen ❤
I like how Ryan said, "I think he got too comfortable." The truth is the black community is a community that is constantly under the microscope. They watch and study us so much that they feel comfortable with us. When I say they I am referring to people worldwide. We have such a spotlight on us that they think they know us and you can't know us unless you're us.
What's wild is, like you said they think they know us. They really don't pay attention to US really like they think they do. They let the media tell them who we are, yet the media's interpretation of the black experience is a far cry from who WE really are.
@@ELynRus-h well stop displaying dysfunction and chaos on social media, movies, Tv shows, and in your community. Then the stereotype will cease. Otherwise, hold your community accountable for the stigma surrounding black culture.

They messed up their money kikiing with Andrew about black women. Now they money taking a hit because most of their audience were black women. How do you not know your audience?
Selling out one's community comes at a high price. I can't imagine allowing someone to play in my face with racist rhetoric about communities I belong to on a large platform and just laughing like a clown.
@ochacal7794 good for them. Now they can support them. And it's strange how BW are so insignificant to their numbers while being unable to keep their names out of their lips. Now you can be gone too with your negative bs.
Then keep in mind Schulz also made other racist remarks during the episode, including comments about slavery, disparaging opinions about Nigerian people, and insinuating that James and Fuhad’s claims of being attracted to women of all races were a cover for their unspoken preference for white women, which Schulz claimed they were too embarrassed to admit. Yet they continued to laugh. Pure scust 😢
(not defending or attacking, just providing context) Andrew's pod has a satirical theme. Like the Daily Show. They say the outrageous thing to mock people who actually believe it. Andrew has broken character and explained this several times. Their long-time viewers are aware it's satire. Andrew doesn't actually believe what he's saying. And like the Daily Show, the satire is turned on/off throughout their conversation. The rage-bait cycle: Someone takes a clip of the satire out of context to rage bait. People take the bait, form an opinion, make videos, news reports, articles, etc. For Andrew's supporters, it's hilarious because they know it's clearly satire. They know Andrew & the crew don't actually believe the outrageous thing. Afterwards, they laugh at people for taking the bait. This rage bait cycle has been happening to Andrew for years. Different communities & corners of the internet have fallen for the rage bait. There are tons of response videos. If I didn't know John Stewart and I saw a clip of him joking about the water in Flint, I would think he's a horrible person. I get it.
They have openly discussed their preferences for non-black women on their podcast. Schultz was calling them out to their faces. He is very race conscious and is familiar with their rhetoric. He couldn't joke about it with they weren't the jokes that they (James and Fuhad) are.
@@jfongborden1 I think this is where delivery and content become very important. I believe the Daily Show keeps their references more broad and even though it’s satire, they’re still inadvertently condemning whatever wrongdoing that’s the topic of the conversation. It’s a round about way of calling attention to certain issue by highlighting the innate problems about it with the use of satire. I feel like Andrew is taking well-known and likely frowned upon tropes then hyping them up to go viral. Maybe I get the point, but there’s certainly two ways to go about things. One has more consequences and certainly leaves a bad taste in lots of mouths. If that’s what he’s decided he likes to do, then I’m sure he’s happy to stand by whatever backlash might come his way.
Thank y'all for speaking up! So often we feel so unheard and unseen and it's exhausting trying to convince ppl to leave us alone and don't believe all stereotypes.
The protect ALL women rubbed me the wrong way, this was specifically about black women, and here he goes with the ALL bs I’m a white man with a black wife, if I can see the bs she goes through, and go above and beyond to protect her I do gladly. NOTHING gets near her that’s negative, not physically, emotionally, verbally, mentally, spiritually, NOTHING AT ALL I prepared a place for her specifically, because since the day I met her, she has always prepared a place for me It’s a shame, and a disgrace to allow anyone to disrespect your group of women the way everyone does, NO it’s not ALL, other groups of women don’t go through what black women do, they can’t even pick up their phones without seeing slander 24/7 about them, and them alone This makes me sick How much weaker can you lot be?
Thank you. You all said your piece in a way that touched my heart in a good way. My heart needed touching because listening to those other two young men was downright painful.

It's satire. Andrew is mocking the people who actually believe those crazy things. He has broken character and explained this so many times. If John Stewart or Steven Cobert say something outrageous we dont take it literal, we recognize the satire & laugh. People have been falling for the rage bait for years. That's the running joke on both his podcasts.
They think of them as inferior anyway but when they can play in a BM face like AS, they get off on it. They laugh at them behind their backs with their white friends.
I'm Jamaican British and we have the same issues here, the same stereotypes, the same expectations, the same discrimination and the same disrespect for example there is a campaign over here to get our natural hair recognised as acceptable/business appropriate. What Andrew, James and Fuhad did was deeply hurtful I don't understand the obsession with hurting us, disrespecting us it's just sad.
The campaign for natural hair to be business appropriate. That’s projecting lol!!! See how these YT’s move cut your hair and do it the way we like so we can hire you with confidence. Yeah that looks like projecting to me

He's made a few touchy remarks about Indians too, I really do feel like he thinks he's part of the 'culture' due to his proximity with people of color and Charlamagne or Aakaash need to check his ass before he encounters a real one
Guys.....they are mocking the people who actually think that way. It's an act. Like sketch comedy without the props. They have broken character so many times and explained this. They don't actually believe what they're saying....its fake. Right wing nuts were supporting them until they realized, "wait a minute, he's mocking us!" 😂 Them being clipped & taken out of context is a running joke on both podcasts. We have to start looking beyond these tropes of Black women being STRONG and DIRECT. We’re human.

As a Black Brit, nah, it ain't the European thing. The similarities are STAGGERING, to be honest, globally it is quite interesting to watch the same phenomenon chilling in all types of environments that Black men are at. I do think that their upbringings makes them care less. One has a white mother and the other, you can tell, was probably always the only Black guy and not the "cool" one either. I feel like they've been cackling for a while to... in their words "just move on." But to be honest, you can see how they don't really connect with the Black women experience. But that's absolutely in Britain and Europe at large and America and Latin America and Asia and on the continent. Honestly, it is SO interesting to watch like you literally see the copy and paste. And Charlamagne is an example of this, that man isn't gonna sit anybody down and explain anything at all. He thinks the same, he won't even see what is wrong with what has happened - "just a joke" is all we can expect to be real and it's the same here, France, Venezuela and Burundi. Just won't be taking seriously. Also if you wanna know about the Black British experience, I say go for it, there's loads of documentaries from the 40s up until now in particular - maybe start at the Windrush Generation as a starting point although we have been around for longer e.g. post WW1 or even before that in the Victorian and Elizabeth periods and BEFORE lol but that's more digging - and I think it is important to note what happens to us all globally so we can relate one another better and understand each other's context so we come at each other with a level of respect, compassion based on knowledge etc. I didn't need to know the history to do that for African Americans but it certainly helps me to pull up with facts and am even GREATER amount of reverence you know?
Blk British here as well. Sometimes I feel like comments like yours just sit in a vid and no one is actually listening. People like Fuhad and James have a large voice and platform but I actually don't think they are representative of a lot of Blk British people and thse of us who love ourselves get no exposure. I would love to see more Blk Americans learning about the Windrush experience and our culture and learning how we aren't all like these two self-hating clowns.
As an African American woman I will be sure to not allow this fall on blind eyes. Because I know the Black experience can be just as crazy in the UK as it is in America. Let me do some more research starting with Windrush. Blessings 🙏🏾

As a black man who's ALWAYS speaking up for our women, thank you brothers for pushing back and speaking up for our sisters. We are all we got, dbs and qe need to check the disrespect at all times.
As a Black British woman I can tell you that James and Fuhad’s response to a white man disrespecting Black women, Nigerians and laughing it up with him was not something many Black British people agree with or would have tolerated. Most of us wouldn’t have given Shultz the time of day by being on his show. Most of us would have confronted him or left. I say most because all skinfolk ain’t kinfolk. Shultz has been allowed to get too comfortable by Charlemagne and those stooges Shultz has on his show. Fuhad and James were in over their heads and did not know how to respond which would have been difficult to navigate as clearly they share some of Shultz’s opinions. 🙄 Bottom line you never let cultural or racist so called ‘jokes’ or statements fly. Ever! I appreciate this conversation. I hope James and Fuhad hear this and learn from their experience. I also hope that their mental health is OK because the backlash and everyone coming down on them cannot be easy.
Also, I don't know if black men understand this, but when any other groups of men talk badly about another man's women, that's a sign of disrespect to that man. That's typically fighting words. So when Andrew felt THAT comfortable to disrespect black women in front of black men, he did it because he knew that he could probably get away with it and to see if they were smart enough to realize that he was lowkey disrespecting them as well...and they let him do both.
💯💯. Andrew Schultz has a huge following and he telegraphed a bat-signal to other groups of men, that it's ok to denigrate BW in front of BM. He is telling them I got away with it and y'all can too. 😢🙄

This is what we need to feel safe and protected while living in this dangerous world. It's open season on hurting and killing our people without any accountability for their wrong. There are a lot of moments on that podcast where the whole point is that black men prefer non-black women. He likes to do that to a lot of black male guests. Unfortunately, some to play into the stereotype and agree. Andrew is not even married to a black woman so there is no in joke or whatever.
He does that, because behind the scenes he sees bm obsessing over ww. He ses the reality of their behaviour. Imagine asking black people if they date other races😮 you would never ask an Asian or white person that. Because it sounds stupid.
I know one thing. My mother is one of the greatest mother's of all time. The fact that she's black is that much more of a ➕️!
