I'm in the same boat, hence the reason why I am up at 3:38am trying to learn about this before my 9am interview! Lol. Come to find out, I was creating my own pivot tables as a Data Subject Matter Expert for AT&T in order to track and forecast Data sales by each dept, but I had no idea that was the name of my graphs...and certainly not to the extent of the video. But recently I jumped in and just started dragging titles into a different market and was able to see how the pivot table works to summarize large amounts of data for different kind of analytical purposes. I had a phone interview and they asked me about pivot tables. I simply said that I didn't not use them on a daily basis for my job. I am not familiar at all. At my work, I have done a lot of data collection and analysis using Python scripts and industry tool call Spotfire. Whenever I try to add 'Average value of cost' in value field settings, it shows 'averages, standard deviations, and variances are not supported when a pivot table report has calculated items' 7:34
