I got my pixel 6 (non pro) 3mos ago for free thru T-Mobile. Am now trading it in for the 10pro no charge extra. I had too many problems with browser and RU-vid freezing. Plus the fingerprint sensor is so slow that I never use it. The only thing I'll miss is the build quality. The pixel feels super solid in the hand. But any type of phone case renders that aspect obsolete. Also the pixel doesn't come with a charger. The OnePlus comes with everything and a screen protector.
Truth be told I probably would have picked the 10 Pro over the 6 Pro if OnePlus released at the same time as Google. I see nothing wrong with OnePlus 10 Pro except people may not want it because the competition is extreme at that price point. I love 6 Pro to the T! Great detailed video by the way!
@@Dalvecc The best phone I ever had was a Windows Phone 😂. Thus, it is the best Pixel I have owned so far. I've had the OG Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 3, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a and now this fantastic device P6 Pro.
Not even. I've had the pixel 6 for 3months. So far I've considered the fingerprint sensor obsolete it's so slow. The software is atrocious. Google browser constantly malfunctions when you go to the top search bar it get stuck. And RU-vid freezes alot. I've never ever had an issue with either with my 7pro
@@marsel108 I am currently holding it in my hands. I just got the 10pro from T-Mobile for free on trade in. I'm just waiting for my 10pro case to come in the mail before I send this phone back.
Thanks for this review, MTG. You are one of the very few RU-vid reviewers who mention OS and Security Updates. I could not agree more. Flagship phones need to be, at least 4 OS and 4 Years of Hardware and Security Updates. Other reviewers, make this part of each and every review. Just started using the new US-spec OnePlus 10 Pro as the daily driver, and so far, an excellent phone. I will be getting the Pixel 8 Pro next year as the second driver. Thanks. Stay Safe.
You're dead right but if you want the numbers, the OnePlus lives up to it's 65W claim. The Pixel claims 30W, tops out at 23W and averages 15W or less in a full charge, say 10% to 100%...
My OnePlus 7T pro McLaren edition full screen is better than Pixel 6 pro. I still prefer OnePlus over any other phones. OnePlus 7T pro is like Cheetah, OnePlus 10 pro is like Leopard & Google pixel 6 pro is like Jaguar.
New sub! I had the 6 pro for 2 weeks and couldn't get passed the software issues along with some of the overheating. The curved edges were tough to deal with too. I went with the regular 6 in seafoam. 3 days in, no issues. The Matte black rails are a game changer. I miss the telephoto but I'll live with it. Keep up the great videos man.
One is 3 years old with pure oxygen os. One is current with color(ish) oxygen os. The former allows for super wide gamut colors, the latter does not. Other than that the OnePlus 10 pro is better in every way. (I own both!)
The only downside to the 7pro is it's age. No longer gets security updates and will soon start to lag in processing speed due to no more updates. I still have mine but use it as a wifi device for content consumption at work
The Pixel has the best camera of any Android phone that I have seen. Magnificent! (I haven't seen the Huawei or Honor) However... it charges at an average of 15W!! Which translates to 3 hours+ for a full charge! Which is not remotely practical. The OnePlus 10 Pro is a much better phone in every other respect and the camera is not too shabby but it's not even close to the Pixel's. I can't use either as I need a great camera AND somewhat fast charging... I frequently need a quick top up. Easy to choose then, ain't it? So I'm going for the S22 Ultra as it's reasonably good in both departments + feature packed.
The pixel 6 was originally reported to be very "buggy." In think it finally got fixed with updates but my local tmobile store reported a number of pixel phones had been returned. Is this issue also found with the pixel 6 pro? Between these two phones and the Samsung s22+, which one would be your choice? Would one of them be a clear winner in terms of call quality?
I spent 30 minutes rooting my Pixel 6 Pro and putting the radioactive kernel on it. It now lasts 8-10 hours and fast charges quicker than my S22 Ultra.
I have a Pixel 6 Pro that I love, however I have had some phone connection issues that drive me crazy. I will muddle through until Android 13 comes over the air and will then perform a total factory reset. Hopefully, that will correct my issue. 🤞
Ok here's a question late 2022 can pick up a OnePlus 10pro for under £650 do you think that's a better option than waiting for the new Pixel 7 pro.... Probably going to be closer to £800??
Using exynos chip on P6P no thank you. Mobile reception it's terrible. I had to return it after 1 week of use. Also one 1 sim, I don't want to use esim. No thank you and the list goes on.
If it's the non pro version it's worth it. But id you have 6pro the battery life is the only main difference. The pixel will def last longer. 5yrs updates to 3yrs on the 10pro.
@@veanney__ only complaint that I have is the front camera stabilization but I'm hearing they put out an update I haven't received it yet other than that it's a no-brainer I figured one or two updates will be needed especially when this phone came out 3 months ago elsewhere
@@darrelljackson1620 Agreed 1 million percent. I love it. I wish it had my old favorite super wide gamut color profile, but other than that the phone is rock solid. All the hate is extremely petty and misplaced.
Pixel mobile battery standby drain is off the charts trash. I used a lot if android phones before and after that and even in comparison. Non of these phones had that problem. So pixel is trash
