@@AnkitSharma-os6euPixel will not be snapdragon it will be still tensor but fabrication will change from samsung to tsmc which should improve stability and thermals
No progress since pixel 6 series bro. They being lazy with camera optimizations. No ui changes. Nothing since pixel 6 pro has improved. And........Ai ai ai ai ai ai, stfu.
I had the same misconception that we can continuously shoot videos on phone at a stretch for 1 hr or so in outdoor situation. I now know that even professional cameras give warning in hot temperature.
@@lekha2sai Full HD with software Stabilization and also tried with 4K. Quality is good and acceptable though its not at all a camera crntric phone. Just it got a Sony main sensor👍🏻 I think SD865 along with LPDDR5X 12GB Ram and UFS3.1 did the magic. Apart from that, Iqoo 3 is designed for Gaming and i believe that also too helped a bit for video 📹 purpose 👍🏻
These corporates are doing business without any ethics at all. So they know the phone would heat up if there is no vaper cooling but they deliberately did not give that feature on the normal pixel 9 whereas they put that on the pixel 9 premium version and call it a premium feature? Same like old dirty theory of pay more if you need airbags on your car?? How does that make sense? How can they even release a product that heats up to consumers and expect them to adjust if they can't afford to pay more for the premium versions?? Clear violation of consumer rights.
It's really good to hear some positives about the Pixel9PXL. Pixel with SD8GEN3 would have crushed the competition but that time ain't far away. TSMC would definitely change the Pixels' fortune.
No chance. iPhone and Samsung phones are vertically integrated and work superb within their ecosystem esp. iPhone. iPhone also have far superior video quality and very comparable (depends on liking) raw photo quality. Resale value of Pixel is just a fraction of what a similarly priced iPhone can fetch you.
@@EndWokenessAtAllCost Everything has to go down, i would rather say there is something called saturation point. There was a time when blackberry used to be one of the most famous and demanding Phone companies but today we can see it's vanished. Therefore saying no chance to compete with Apple and Samsung is quite brainless.
@@MOON-Hkr It's well researched,. Don't form opinion based on tech reviewer. Watch MKBHD, MrWHoseTheBoss. Read about the device in TechRadar, The Verge, Ars Technica. None of them call it a worthy competitor to replace current premium phones from Samsung and Apple. Google neither has the scale nor the after sales support to match these two. These phones are ridiculously priced for what they bring to the table.
Pixel aftersales support is terrible, especially in India, as firstly, they've partnered with third-party warranty provider which also handles other smartphone brands like Motorola & Asus. If your device requires warranty, these service centers would collect it and send it to a centralised location and you'll be waiting for your phone for multiple weeks (without any option of loaner). Also, even if device is repairable in situations like water damage, Google India would quote the repair cost as high as cost of new device itself. In short, buy Pixel only if you are sure that you're never going to need after-sales support. Otherwise get Samsung, Apple, OnePlus, or even Xiaomi as a camera phone that generates fake photos is not worth this hassle.
Exactly. Ranjit didn't even even mention it even once. Google support is very poor in India. Also, resale value of Pixel devices is very poor, Samsung fetch higher price and no comparison at all with iPhone.
@@EndWokenessAtAllCost Pixel has partnered with F1 same as Apple + They have launched exclusive stores for Pixel in Delhi and Bangalore, with a Mumbai store opening as well in the future (Same-Day repair option available), hopefully with time more such stores will open.
yes my pixel 4a was sitting with their service centre for nearly a month. and the problem is that you can't directly talk to their service centre. You have to talk to google support and they get in touch with f1 if there are any issues with repair. They have opened new walk-in across india now but even these are managed by third party and when i tried to contact one by phone, i had a terrible experience. The repair person from f1 was least interested in helping a customer.
@@imarchit What's the deal with stores opening when after sales support is not good? Nothing entered so much later than Pixel in India and yet it's support service is leaps and bounds ahead.
Noone speaks about pause feature of apps, which can take battery life to 2-2.5 days. I'm using 4a 5G with pausing apps I ront use often and after 4 years I'm still getting 2 days' battery! Just awesome feature of pixel going unnoticed!

pixel 9 pro has 5 on 5 for camera in Flipkart. and many have said that gooble have fixed performance and pver heating issues and modem issues. of course with tsmc fabrication next year it will probably the best phone. anyways kudos pixel team
Same. I have the iphone 13pro max and am looking to upgrade this year. Pixel 9 fold has really caught my eye. Will probably wait till the 16 pro reviews before making a decision but the pixels have been very compelling this year
@@rishavbadola7357 13 Pro Max is vastly inferior to 15 Pro max, having used both I can absolutely say this. 16 Pro Max is going to be so much better than this year's Pixel devices. 16 Pro Max will fetch way higher resale value than any other phone in the market when you either exchange or sell it in next 3-5 years. Video quality is unmatched in an iPhone. If you own a Mac or any other Apple device, the ecosystem and seamless experience is best in the world.
@@rishavbadola7357 Please follow more reputed tech channels and websites. Value proposition and longevity of Pixel devices is very inferior to iPhone and Samsung S series. And at significantly lesser price, Nothing phones are superb.
@@rishavbadola7357 iPhone 15 Pro Max is much better than your current phone. 16 will be even better. iPhones are far more powerful, better thermals, retain far higher resale value, best all round camera with unmatched video quality, and well integrated into Apple ecosystem.
20:00 The answer about blogging should actually cover one more thing, whether it can be used for shooting long videos without heating.. And yes voice enhancement is a really useful feature. I have used it on Pixel 8 and the sound of crickets, insects can be remove perfectly from videos. My exp was far better than what u shown in the video. my iphone doesnt have that sadly.
Hi Ranjit, many including myself will be considering Pixel 9, as it is a much affordable compared to Pro's. Will be waiting for your detailed review and practical usage opinion on Pixel 9. That will be very helpful.
An extremely poor purchase. Try to exchange or sell it, it won't fetch you even 50% of it's value in 1 year, similarly priced iPhone 15 Plus would have fetched you way higher. Performance is vastly inferior to Samsung and iPhone, doesn't matter if you purchase such an expensive phone just to browse the internet and click pictures. Video quality is vastly inferior to iPhone and Samsung. Only department it is better is raw photos and not by a big margin. Google support is not good, Apple is exceptional and Samsung is very good.
I just purchased pixel 9 pro xl compared with the old images like 8 Pro and 8. This is fantastic, but for example if the old device warm is 9 out of 10 now this pixel 9 Pro Excel is 5 or 10 so it's not completely gone. But it's okay. It's manageable but I could feel the premium in my hand same like iPhone. Hope pixel 10 will improve so much
I have used both the S24+ and the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, and by far in terms of performance doing intensive operations, I. E. DoorDash, Uber and Lyft, the Google pixel nine Pro XL drains very fast compared to the S 24+ sips on the battery. When I attempt to charge the battery when doing intensive things, the Google pixel 9 Pro XL charges extremely slow. I will say it is good for day-to-day usage for normal activities,, Facebook, Instagram, checking email, texting. Yes, in those instances, the battery life is very good. Overall, Samsung has them beat except in the camera department, which they are pretty close. if Google would just ditch that tensor project and go with a snapdragon processor, it would be game over and I would definitely switch and stay with the Google pixel phones
We in the U.S. have the SD 8 Gen 3 made specifically for Samsung premium smartphones, and the battery life in "all day and a day" on the S24+.....incredible battery life!
When I checked with Google, they mentioned that warranty would be limited to individual country and would not be valid if purchased in US and warranty would not be valid in India!
Still in 2024 we are saying perf. is not up to the mark with 40 gap btwn rest and move away saying Pixel devices are just for daily use , Photos , Stock Exp & AI But hopefully for the cost they are moving - Next year we get a proper flagship with top perf. and what Pixel does as well
Let me tell you audience one thing, I have used pixel 6a , it was bitter experience, there was lot of heating issues even on normal usage secondly battery drains and heats a lot while use mobile network connectivity but there is no battery drainage during using wifi. Very very slow charging. All these things could be solved by changing the chipset to snapdragon, as the tensor chipset is based on Exynos processor and also the this chipset is manufactured by samsung so therefore better wait until google comes with snapdragon processor.
@@lggr2261 Tensor G4 is vastly inferior to SD 8 Gen 2, forget about competing with 8 Gen 3. Apple's A16 and A17 are in their own league. Apple and Samsung premium phones offer way better value than Pixel devices, not to forget the resale value and after sales support.

Hi Ranjit. Thanks for the in-depth review. Just wanted to know, how big a difference is there between the pixel 9 and 9 pro XL? Also, considering the price point which one is a better buy?. It would be great if you could answer this in your pixel 9 review. Thanks again.
Hello sir... Big Fan FOLLOWING YOU SINCE 2012....Big applause for raising question regarding smartphones quality standards on behalf of whole tech community & People of India.... My question is..... I'm Really confused in mid-range market segment for buying smartphones under 40K-50K.. i was thinking of switching to one plus 12R but due to its recent 4-5 yrs history of green line, dead motherboard and now recent one plus 11R motherboard going dead...im a bit terrified....Please suggest me a mid range smartphone for a time period of 4-5 yrs with snapdragon 7 series or 8 series SOC and a good battery OR is it okay to go with the one plus? Thankyou!
Your review is the most opposite review that i saw then other tech channels like beebom , techwiser they are stating that despite of vapour chamber the pixel 9 pro is heating and the tensor g4 throttle even worst than g3 and about the battery life it is about 7-8 hrs stated by other reviewer like mkbhd , mrwhosetheboss but your review stats that it has more battery life than s24 ultra which is generally has about 10-11 hrs of battery so it may see that you only tested the phone only on light conditions but not broad spectrum use l
if they use exynos 2400 that one used in s24 model.they would kill the competition.i am really sceptical this phone could handle 7 generations of android update and still tun smoothly.
A suggestion Is it possible to include microsoft teams when testing battery life and heating etc. I have a pixel 6a. It heats up quite a bit and teams is one of the worst offenders especially when taking a teams call. Same for battery life.
24:06 thats what i wanted to hear, the future of this device, because its very obvious that the present of this device is going to be "butter smooth" , "fluid" & whatever adjectives you want to give it now, but there's that Indian mentality of ours, to use something to an extent where it stops working😂😂 & if someone is promising a longer functioning of a device like this (with things like 7 years updates , etc. ) then in that case, it becomes very obvious for us to test that for that long (atleast till 5-6 years if not complete 7 years, because 4 years is given by every company nowadays for the updates & obviously they're charging so much high for that)....so right now the next 6 months - 1 year is going to be absolutely fine, but after that, that's where we need to know n see
