Pixel Path II by  

This level certainly catches the eye: It has detailed assets, vibrant landscapes and an astonishing cinematic masterpiece of an endscreen with no less than 10 different camera shots. The gameplay is extremely creative: I was taken the most by the part at 4:53, where if you move too fast a giant worm will jump out of the shadows to eat you. Moments like those make Pixel Path II unique in its execution of ideas.
However, it does have some flaws. The pixel-style deco, though creatively used, feels quite janky and messy at times. There is not much effort to maintain pixel ratios, so often the assets in the background look bigger than those in the foreground. Also, there are lots of visibility issues where you can't tell what kills you and what doesn't. (For example, at 5:19 the blue glow kills you while the red is meant to be hit, or at 6:38 where the electric obstacle looks like an orb). Finally, the chase part requires a TON of practice which makes it significantly harder than everything else. Despite all these issues I'm still glad it got mythic :)
