Yep. Always Best to start out with the highest resolution possible and then copy and convert to your final destination resolution for whatever end use. Regarding upscaling/upsizing an image, the ONLY solution after much research was to use a Photoshop Plug-In by Professional Photographer Fred Miranda called "SI Pro"..."SI" = Stair Interpolation...a *VERY* specific process algorithm to achieve photographic quality. I was able to obtain this filter and to test it, I used to upscale some FPO (For Placement Only, usually 72DPI) stock photos. I was sincerely impressed with the quality and detail of the upscale. This was back in the days of Photoshop v5.5 and compared to the "AI" processing nowadays probably is deprecated. RE: ArtCall resolution of "1920x1080" is a typical standard HD Resolution that they probably use to display on monitors or or projector screens for judging purposes.

Yeah, there are upscaling solutions. And they are getting better and better with AI! But we are agreed! Starting with a high res is always the best

Hi Pam I know this is super unrelated, but I was curious if you have tried any of the new Project X metal clay with the ultralite kiln? They have a Project X Sterling 960 which should theoretically work with the ultralite kiln temperatures!

I got some Project X Fine Silver. i don't work much with sterling. But I haven't tried it yet. If you do let me know how it goes!
