the only reason it was hated is well.. it's still a billy madison film with adam sandler behind it and most of the cast, the CGI saved the film + it was on based on a short film.
Tbh this movie only got bad reviews cause critics are terrible judges of what’s actually fun and entertaining. Video game films these days are getting better views than any multi million dollar production. The sonic series. The super Mario bros movie. Even FNAF
Movie is proof that visual effects like CGI and such aren’t bad or necessarily worse than practical effects, they’re just another tool. The animators and artists working on this film pulled some crazy good work on this, and in a world where actors and directors get most of the credit, it’s nice to see so many people in the comments praising the CGI. Honestly, the main reason people are mad about CGI nowadays is because they’ve been overworked by companies and aren’t unionized yet, so the few who are still working are doing so off of 2 hours of sleep…
I loved the credits as well. I remember watching this when It came out. I was only about 12 when it came out and I didn't really question the plot because I was so focused on the jokes and the video game scenes but even watching it more recently it is still a great movie
@Cupcakes110 if they Did Pixels 2: The Second Level I like to see them fix the Issue a bit on the 1st Film & Start the 2nd level in the Next Era of video games like tge Sega Genesis, Nes, SNES, & add to Arcade characters that appeared in the film but this time The game characters , The Arcaders take on Evil hybrid Clones of the Original Game characters in varient Colors this time it's an idea For a Sequal if they Did one But it's a -1 life that it Slumped in Sales I do like the film I don't Think it's should Be Low ratings, I like the Style of CGI they went with giving the game characters that arcade pixel bit Style in 3D they went hard on that CGI effort
