my light whip seems to be sticking too much. way more than yours is. any tips on why thats happening/how to make it flow over my hands/body smoother? like lately when i try to drag the whip across the back of my neck it literally gets stuck in friction and wont pass over..... ugh.
Gaby Chiha my whip always runs better over snug fitting clothes and as for my neck it helps when my hair is down cause the fiber can get stuck and not run as smoothly over your skin if it is sticky from sweat or anything like that cleaning your whip and using a silicone based lubricant also helps tremendously hope this helps!
@@sibiumarius hey! I used WD40 to clean it. I would put some on my microfiber rag and wipe in the direction of the fibers. You’ll notice the rag get dark from dirt and your fibers will become a lot brighter (and easier to manipulate!) don’t pull too hard, but some fiber loss may occur. Depends on how old the fiber head is
Awesome video, but dude you're going too fast for a tutorial D: I cant follow the motions you're doing with your elbow around your back. And I cant play the video in slo mo :(
Gaby Chiha thanks for the compliment and the feedback! To put this in context it's not meant as a tutorial, rather a quick & dirty diary of some ideas I created & posted in a single night. It's aimed at the Dancing with Lightning Facebook group of whippers, for folks who are far along enough to pick up the ideas quickly. Of course it also has some residual value for people who are less well versed in this particular movement set, but it's not as easy as an organized tutorial. Also for what it's worth, if you go to RU-vid from a non-mobile web browser, you DO have the option to slow mo this if you like! you just need to click the settings gear in the lower right corner, then speed. Hope that helps some. I plan to eventually do an organized tutorial of these concepts
