Another way to calibrate the Hobbywing FunFly 40Amp ESC. Just remember you have to be very quick to down the throttle stick back just after the long beep, Otherwise ESC will go into the parameters setting mode.

Are there moments that the Pixhawk lose those ESC calibration settings, by mine 8 40 Amp Opto ESC with Simon K firmware are some problems not level from startup and should all the other calibrations do first such as compass GPS radio ?
It is not like that. You can do the ESC calibration first place. Some ESC won't generate the sound so it can be difficult in that case specially low cost opto ESCs.
Just check whether that ESC has a programble port or not. If not then you can not program it with your pc. Coming to the point , with out a joystick, you can use a servo tester as well
Dear Shubanjan, how much reliable is RTL on pixihawk 2.4.8, I had configured failsafe as Land but not very sure on RTL. Any views please guide. Thanks a lot
As per my opinion it is safe if you set RTL ALT to a safe parameter also the what kind of UAV you r using. Incase of quadcopter it is reliable but incase of fixed wing you have to look for other parameters as well
Firmware is available on mission planning software. You can upload directly to the board while connecting with USB. Which diagram you need please specify so that i can provide to you
@@desidrone but are we using pwm for pixhawk because if I configured pwm mode ( flysky-fsi6x) in radio calibration of mission planner it's not showing anything, after I changed to ppm only I can able to calibrate radio.
@@vishnuprasath4611 that's bcz Pixhawk only accept ibus or ppm signal. Reduce the lower limit of the throttle and check once again. Earlier i have faced the issue and solved.
Joystick not tested yet. Will update you soon. You can also calibrate your joystick first and then follow another calibration procedure mentioned in the mission planning software
@@desidrone The reason I ask is because I don't have a radio controller. I tried to follow the wiki on the joystick setup but again don't really know if it's working.
