You hAve to watch their video for their bside Bewitched too!!! I tend not to get too deeply attached to rookies but Pixy are just so good, love all their songs, their personalities, their dancing. They have so much potential I can't wait to see what they do in the future

You were correct. Pixy debuted February of 2021 so they've been around for just under a year. During that time they quickly shot up to my second favorite group, after Dreamcatcher. In fact, I tend to introduce them to people as 'The Dreamcatcher of the 4th gen". Not because they sound the same or have the same style, but for so many other reasons. Too many reasons to list here. Absolutely you should listen to Addicted with headphones (as is the case with most of their songs). As I said earlier, they've only been around for about a year so there's not a lot of catching up to do. Here's a short list of their MVs. Wings (debut) Let Me Know (first comeback) Bewitched (co-title with Addicted. Their second comeback.) The Moon (B-side Performance video. You're going to love the choreo) Moonlight (B-side animated video) Still With Me (Song for the fans. Be sure to read the description) Call Me (A special clip. A gift from the company because the girls expressed an interest in doing something cute) Also, like Dreamcatcher, there's an underlying story behind their title tracks. There is a series of 'World View' videos on their official channel that help tell the story. That's about it. I do hope you'll continue reacting to Pixy. Like Dreamcatcher, they are from a very small, unknown company and any exposure they can get is very appreciated.
Pixy has definitely had a great year of songs and deserves to be in the young group of the (past) year consideration. They definitely took the Dreamcatcher concept and making it their own. Looking forward to see what's next for them and I hope they get to keep pushing boundaries and make themselves stand out over the next years.
A reaction to Pixy? I have been summoned. First of all, great reaction and thanks for giving the girls a shot (again). Now, some info: They did indeed debut in 2021. Pretty sure you reacted to Wings which was the debut track but they had a very busy year in general. After Wings, they dropped Let Me Know alongside their first mini album, and then in October dropped Addicted and their second mini. This also came with a second title track Bewitched, which also has an MV (it's more like a performance mv but the quality is insane). There are six members. I won't list them all but just out of the ones you pointed out: the deep voice rapper with the squishy face is Satbyeol; girl that you were wondering if she was the center is Dia (sidenote: Pixy don't have an official center but you will often see Dia as the focal point in choreos and performances, she's a true ace); and finally the girl with the Gahyeon lips is Dajeong, funnily enough also the maknae. They have a storyline that runs through their mvs and is supplemented by "world view" clips that are released before each comeback and tell a new chapter of the story. The story itself is co-written by Satbyeol and is pretty simple to follow with the basic point of it being that they are six wingless fairies struggling through a dark forest and trying to resist the temptations of a witch. You mentioned about enjoying the choreo here and that in general has been one of their strong suits, alongside the sheer quality of their music. Main reason for both of these is that they've worked with the same teams for each since debut. Men Of The Future have choreographed all of their title tracks and have done an incredible job of blending story-telling elements and sheer performance power throughout. And their company AllArt, has an in-house production team that has handled every single song they've released. The production team is lead (I think) by Kevin who's voice you hear at the end of Addicted. Basically, there's a lot to admire about this group especially considering they're not even a year old yet and they're from a basically unknown company. But the girls are crazy talented, their music is phenomenal and they work insanely hard. All of this is to say they cemented themselves as my number 1 debut of last year and have become one of my favorite groups over all. Yay Pixy! They're so cool! I'm pretty sure most if not all of the members can sing and rap. Ella's God is a Woman and Problems covers are absolutely amazing. If you have a chance, please check out Oneus' Luna MV or their theatre performances. They're crazy good
Dia, the girl in chains, is main dancer and in the story line was thrown off a cliff by the other members of pixy. In the MV she is shown buried, in chains, and on the bloody table to show she was sacrificed.
Pixy debuted in Feb 2021 but have already comebacks twice in the space of less than a year. Would say more but The Safe Cave has done a far more admirable job than I could ever do. The only detail I would add is that the leader of the group Ella, the one hitting the insane high notes with the short shoulder length blue bob cut, was also a member Cherry Bullet once upon a time but has really found her footing here with Allart and Pixy (and is totally my bias). Definitely my absolute favorite rookies of 2021 and quickly reaching ult status for me. Also there is a video for essentially every track off their 'Addicted' mini album including 'Bewitched', 'Moonlight', and 'Still With Me', not to mention the title track mvs from previous releases.
there is a lo a LOT of similarities and coincidences between Pixy and Dreamcatcher, like no other 2 kpop groups. Plus sound wise are different enough to not be a "copy"
OH MY GOODNESS YES YES YES, Sorry I am very late I never knew you reacted to this!! This Music Video was just a literal masterpiece, these Girls are INSANE the Charisma that they have is crazy! All of the Rookie Groups are just Insane Aespa, PIXY, Purple Kiss they all are just AMAZING and their Vocals, Visuals, Dance, Rap, and just everything is just Phenomenal! (Not in order from Oldest to youngest Sorry!) Sua (Second youngest) even though she didn't get a lot of lines but what she did get she killed it, Ella (Oldest) went INSANE on the Vocals and the Choreo just WOW, Dia (Third youngest) went off on the Visuals her Rap and the Choreo of course, Satbyeol (Third oldest) was INSANE on the Rap just Wow I absolutely love her deep Voice and her Adorable face, Lola (Second oldest) also went off on the Rap and her Visuals are crazy and don't get me started on her deep Voice as well, Dajeong (Maknae) she was just WOW I was not expecting that hair from her at all and her Vocals were just Amazing! Anyways I can't wait for you to react to more PIXY such as More Music Videos, B - Sides, Live Performances, Covers, Dance Practices, Moments, and of course Ships! PIXY is doing a good job..consistent enough to create their own sound.. Hope they keeping up the pace But Wish their choreo could decrease the flexibility cos it definitely won't work if singing live
Hmm... I see that you still don`t highly appreciate these girls at all. And it is very pity for me. I know that we all have different tastes and thats ok. But i really think you should watch more of their videos. Dance practices, performances, "Moon", "Bewitched" and so on. And i think your opinion could change drastically (or maybe not). Dreamcatcher is my ultimate group too. But Pixy became my second ultimate group at the speed of light. And i completely understand why. They have best choreos in k-pop (imho), they have best rap line (imho), their music is gorgeous (their b-sides sound differently from titles too) and their concept is unique. These girls are not less talented too. There is a chance that you don`t appreciate them enough because you do not consider them seriously, don`t pay enough attention to them. So i just advise you to give them a chance. And if they will not persuade you in the end then fine. It is just not your cup of tea. But if they will ...
I mean, I understand it's slightly disappointing, but they don't have to fall head over heels for them. I feel like they didn't really agree with the Dreamcatcher comparison back when Pixy debuted and maybe felt weird that people treated it as a forgone conclusion that they will love them and it has perhaps made it harder for our girls to win them over. I am pretty confident that if they give a few more songs a chance, like Bewitched (this is a MUST!) and The Moon that they might finally be won over and the scepticism will fade even more. We will see, hopefully they enjoyed them enough to give more things a listen! :) I was really happy to see them giving them another chance.

It is just clear for me (because of their reactions) that they don`t enjoy Pixy as much as many people here in the comments and i just advised to pay more attention to this group. I am sure that when reactors watched the first video of Dreamcatcher in the past they were not so greatly impressed either. It took time and devotion to get to know this group and become fan of them. If reactors will not love Pixy in the end it is not a problem.
