It was an era without Facebook! .. Girls use to wait n wander! N love was beautiful as a puzzle! The option to find ppl on social networking websites faded the charm of waiting for someone special! Loved the days when Lyrics use to convey a message with minimum beats yet use to sound soulful! Thanks very much to everyone that have liked my comment!! I couldn't be happier coming back to this song and seeing such an overwhelming response to my long ago posted point of view!! I acknowledge everyone's comment and Cheers to the wonderful era we lived in!! Glad this comment could make you all smile!!! :) - 17/07/18
Karishma Mohite You are right Karishma.. Those days of 90s were so great, sweetest and joyous days, great times at school & college, days without cellphones, ipads or the electronic junk of today. i feel very happy to remember those days...
Karishma Mohite - Yes, absolutely no FB, Orkut etc. I really miss 90s. Doston se milne ke liye abhi keyboard aur mouse karte hain. Hum bike, jhooth, scooters use karte the! Garba ke season mein toh waaaaaaaaaaaaaah! subhaan-allah!
when earthquake hit kashmir on 5th October 2005, that time we used to stay awake whole night due to the fear of after shocks of the Earth quake. In those days we had not have mobile phones nor we had that much of Television facility so that we can engage ourselves for whole night . But one thing helped me to go through those fearful nights and that was our Radio. On radio there used to be a channel called "Radio Apki Dunia" and it used to run for 24 hours and inbetween its programmes, it had normally, it played certain songs and the song which i loved the most was "piya basanti"... I heard it first on the night of earthquake around about 2 AM and i was so much lost in it that it took away the fear of earthquake.. Even now if i hear this song it sends me in deep nostalgia... It compells me to say. " So Good Were Those Days"...
Im not sure about after life or rebirth but if anything exists like this in the universe i just want to reborn in 90s and experience that period one more time😢 even today 90s memories are the only relief in this modern era.
What's the problem then... what if we revive the 90s era.... what all would it take to make the most sacred, beautiful thoughts, our past of 90s become reality once again..why not...be it cycling 😜, radio mirchi always, people hardly knew internet, mobile, lost in songs, studies, CRT TVs ...cable connection.. Wikipedia..
All 90s kids are still stucked there. Kitna bhi achha mil jaye life me, lekin humko wo hi 90s ka era yad aata hai. Koi bhi aur era wale itna miss nahi karte honge apna time jitna hum 90s wale karte hai. Humko life me aage badhna hi nahi hai like we want 90s music, 90s love life, those golden days ❤❤ Who else is agree with me???
Corona mein fnsa tha patna mein....samne wali flat mein ek ladki thi..aksar chupke chupke ye gana sunte sunte usko dekha krta tha..bhgwan us ladki ko hmesha khush rkhe
KS Chithra ji... ❤️Melody queen of indian cinema ❤️Little nightingale of india ❤️ she is the recipient of 6 National award most by any female singer india.. ❤️She has 25, 000 recorded songs in 20 languages including 6 foreign languages... legendary singer..
KS Chitra , what a sweet and mesmerizing voice.gives me goosebumps!!!!! The pride of India, but, she is a south Indian, didn't get enough chances at Bollywood!!!!!
@@OceanHeartsMelody sorry to say this, but the only reason Hindi people like lata is because they are used to her voice. Objectively speaking, she can't be compared to the sweetness that is Chitra.
Best era of youth... luckiest one to enjoyed it...cycles, cassettes, walkman, wavy outfits, simple & sober lifestyle with friends forever singing Piya Basanti songs....❤
Chithra ji 😘😘😘 Vanambaadi in kerala Chinnakkiyil in tamil naadu Sangeetha saraswathi in andrapradesh and telengana Kannada kokila in karnata "Piya basanti" in north india Nightingale of india.. Melody queen of indian cinema... 😘😘😘😘
90s kid cant describe it ....its intact in our soul .....best days of our life ....DD metro or DD2 golden era ....best series , best songs , true news channels....remember surabhi's on sunday and Rangoli, sree krishna
Chitra ji ❤️❤️❤️❤️ form north India, I used to listen lata ji, asha ji, kavitha ji, alka ji etc.... . but when I started listening to chitra ji on early 90's , she does something to our heart ❤️❤️❤️ . I'm so wondered that, why bollywood music industry not much used chitra ji's vocal.🤔🤔 I think she is the only one singer who can sing any kind of song with musical and lyrical expressions. Exceptionally beautiful singer ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Nightingale of Indian Music 🥰🥰🥰
Righly bro, Bollywood neglected and didn't use such a fabulous and talented and mesmerising voice of Chitraji, else we could have got such beautiful songs. But nevertheless, loss is for Hindi film song lovers for missing Chitraji, but she rendered such everlasting songs in South especially Malayalam. I still remember her one song from a Malayalam film where she sings a song with all the pain calling God. After listening to the song, emotions run so high that nobody can deny that God will surely be forced to show himself like in the movie. What a divine and pure voice of Chitraji in that song.

@@PriyaCreationsFun stats prooves affair turning into marriage has much much higher divorce rates than arrange marriage. There is no dowries nowadays as both the partners are working professionals. I think there is too much expectations from partner in affairs turning into marriage. Love marriage was always and will be best. Sadly it's now only limited to village or tier - III cities couples
@@RadheRadhe-tr1zo nope divorces in arranged marriages are low in india due to extreme social pressure of being in toxic relationships . Many people in arranged ones are not happy at all because they are not in love with each other . Yes you are right that there parteners shouldn't expect too much from each other.
Everyone's talking about Chitra Ji only , but I think without Ustad Sultan Khan's voice, this song wouldn't be even half this melodious ... Ustad Sultan Khan🔥
To be honest, i really don't have knowledge on music but the male vocal is more suitable for old grandpa not for the male model in the video. Sounds like grandpa and grandchildren singing together
I proud to be born in 90's , where love love has has actually means without lust. Pure love . Still missing those days of childhood Hit like for being of 90's
90's kids jo ab jindgi me aage Nikal gaye h Aaj ke waqt me jab life ke problem strss anxiety se dur khud ko dekhna or jina chahe to ye song sune Ye aaj v hume avi ke waqt se nikal kar apne khubsurat bachpan me le jati h Thanks to god for making this kind of work jo hume ye ehsaas dilati h hum aaj v insan h or humare ander emotions v h❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

No one is talking about the actor in this video here. He is Donovan and a great friend of mine. Girls went crazy for him after this song released back in November 2000. Those were the days 😍
Im a south indian..my bengali friend made me watch this song wen in college..I did not know how old was d song ten..but I still found d actor cute n he has d most beautiful eyes..😀😀
Not a 90's kid that people are mentioning here in comments..... As a 20s kid (2001) ....I grew up with the vibe of late 90s. Life was so peaceful at that time. So much innocence we used to have! And this song is one of those on whom I would lean again and again!!
Dedicate to the generation Who enjoyed their young days without losing moral ethics and lived an innocent life respecting elders and caring for the younger ones .
Right me bhi apne wo hindin yaad krta hu jab hum bachhe the or ye song tv pr din me kai baar ata tha un dino ki baat hi kuch or hoti thi pehli baar cable network lagwaya tha or ye song suna tha ...
I feel so proud and lucky to myself that I was born and raised between 80s and 90s era... golden era of Bollywood music has been ended after 2000 no singer can fill the gap of Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, K. J. Yesudas, S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, Hariharan, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Vinod Rathod, Alka Yagnik, Kishor Kumar, M.Rafi, K.K, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Asha Bhosale, Anuradha Paudwal, K. S. Chithra, Sadhana Sargam and Lata Mangeshkar........💯👍🥰🌹❣😊
Okay 90 born guys, Dont be sad be proud we had really wonderful childhood. I'd spend millions to get that back if there was any option. It brings smile in my face and happiness when I think about my childhood, proud to be born in 90s. When I read your comment it relates to me somehow, it makes me feel like someone written exactly what I feel. And I watch 90 song once a week and read all the comment, that makes me feel I'm srounded by my sweetest friends circle from childhood whom I left behind. I had really really awesome childhood. :)
From 3:20 thats the magic of Chitraji♥️.. At 3:24 that "gham" nd at 3:40 "staayeee" has diffrnt modulations. Those portions were beautifully emoted by that actress..
Today marks the 20th anniversary of this masterpiece ❣️ released when I was 6 years old ..will listen till my last breath❣️ Thankyou God for making me a 90s kid🙏😭 Thankyou for making my childhood awesome with some beautiful tracks like this 🙏
I was in 5th standard when this song was heard everywhere in the Mike and every stage program girls used to dance in this song.... So nostalgic😢😢😢missing those days... 1998
@@appusappuzz1536 we know bro then why bollywood music directors not used her voice properly.. she said in her interview that so many songs recorded in her voice in hindi then music director said "kya bathe chithraji' after listening her singing style.. but when the film has released the same song come out in different voice. When I started seeing Kiara on screen, I thought she came back after a break looking much younger. It took long to realise that Kiara is a different person.
Wah jab suno tab Dil ko sokoon, itna shandar awaz, itna creative rhythm, ek ek instrument tasalli se sun sakte ho, video director ne bhi itni sadgi se banaya he tarif ke layak he, Satyanash ker dia aaj ke fuhad Sangeet ne, per acha he hamare lie bahut kuch he purana hamare time ka, Sandesh shandilya ki baat alag he aaj bhi isake.
