How to become a better family to artists? One of the best interview questions I have ever heard.. wo bhi Piyush sir aise legend se..Keep up the good work Rohini.
How I wish the interviewer was someone different, someone more evolved. She's just having a fan girl moment and hardly able to dig deep into such a terrific artist
I think the interviewer was completely fine. I would rather see a fan interviewing him than someone who doesn't know much about his work and asks generic questions. She actually READ the book and understood what he was talking about.
To the people being harsh on the interviewer in comments, I don't think it's the case of her being low on energy, or less evolved or annoying. She's a wonderful and engaging interviewer. This seems like the case of two people having very different vibes. And yes, perhaps may have been better if she had looked at him through the lens of a flawed, fellow human being rather than from a fan putting an artist on a pedestal. Which i think, he explicitly doesn't want, hence his openness and assertions of ordinariness. For anyone of us, that can feel difficult to do- to see him and his work as not something extraordinarily 'great'. I do appreciate the enthusiasm, sincerity, and respect Rohini brought here, and always brings. One always learns, and there is so much to like here. Constructive criticism at least serves a purpose, and pointless and shallow critiques are just redundant. Aur bhai, log bhool jate hain ki kabhi kabhi interviewee bhi to ek difficult insaan ho sakta hai. Interviews happen between 2 people. Shayad Piyush Mishra ki hi energy kam ho, mood kharab ho etc. 😅
To anyone who is watching this n aspiring to be an artist, please don't forget the hell, sacrifice, self-contemplation fight n penance, both him n his family have gone through.... It's not a joke.... Aur artist ya toh taaumr kaam karte hain ya tab tak jab tak unke andar ki art khatam na ho jaye.... Nahin toh artist ki mukti uskay kaam k through hi hoti, kaam karte-2 hi mar jata hai aur moksha pata hai
