Idk about the taste but I liked the honesty of didi when she was asked about the flours used in the base which was home made and could have lied agreeing to the host that it is not made from Maida but she told the truth that yes a little bit but Maida is there. At least she is not selling lies to gain customers. This shows that they are not only hardworking but honest to their customers.
from what I know about Puertorican cooking (A lot actually) not only do they add taste but they also are also used to cook/bake/fry because they are naturally non stick and have so much more uses. In this instance I can assume they use the banana leaf to keep the pizza from sticking to the foil.
Okay nice try beautiful couple but they should use gas tandoor instead tawa it'll time saving for them and customer and don't use of expensive kitchen utensils for pizza cutting time they were using vegetables deicing knife instead of pizza cutter .
The banana leaf thing is pretty useless. Just a pointless cooking technique to try and stand out from the other 1000000000000000000000 street food stands.
