King, I agree with you about the tipping culture nowadays. Everyone expects to receive tips for services that were barely rendered.

The concept of the food service industry underpaying their employees and letting them possibly make it up in tips should never have become a thing in the first place. I’d rather pay more for the food knowing that the Server is receiving fair compensation. Extra tipping could still be optional. Do people tip at Chinese take out? 🤔

Tipping should really be only reserved for like sit down meals at a restaurant or like for an exceptional service at another establishment if you are feeling generous. At the end of the day it's your money spend it how you see fit.

I said the same thing about tipping. Asking for a tip on to-go orders is crazy. And a lot of time that tip is shared with the company.

I agree with you completely because i dont mind tipping if they did a good job....the problem is people now a days want something for nothing if i go out to eat and have bad service why should i give extra money to someone who didn't do a good job.....yes i understand that the restaurant doesn't pay good but that is not my fault and i have had restaurant jobs and yes they can be aggravating but i still chose to act professional and do a good job!!! If you work in any type of customer service job you have to learn how to stay professional and work hard even when you are having a bad day because 9 times out of 10 the customer is not the one who deserves unprofessionalism and that goes both ways... customers need to be kind to workers because most of the time that customer service rep didn't cause the problem!!!

$8 for personal pizza and 4 wings is not that bad these days. I'll have to give it a try.

I tip here and there if I can when I order for pick up depending on the place i order from . I tip at 5 guys because it gets split between the 5 people working and if i order at a restaurant for pick up Waitresses don't cook my food and the cooks don't get tips even if I gave one so I'm definitely not tipping for service I didn't get. I've been a cook and manager at restaurants for 14 years and I know the deal lol wingstop is another place where they split tips right along with steak n shake so I'm all for tipping them

Sometimes I ask how this makes sense… If I’m eating a big back rib eye with some loaded mashed and king schratz was eating some nuggies and fries and we spend the same time in the restaurant why do I need to tip more just cause my meal was triple the price?

Love the no intros! And completely agree with tipping culture getting way out of hand. Like you, I tip cause I can but I’d much rather pay more and have staff be adequately paid than to put that expectation on the consumer. No one should be shamed if they can’t tip, especially for takeout. Businesses should definitely be shamed for not devising a working business model and properly paying their employees.

Honestly the tipping situation strikes people differently. All around the world tipping is actually frowned on. I tip when I go to a place and sit down because I tattoo and that is a service. So I get it. However if I'm going to a place and taking my food to go it is rare if I tip because I am not there to receive said service from the place. If it is a fast food place forget the tip. I'm sorry but they only took your order at the register and that is it. IDK maybe it's just me LOL Keep these coming man, always enjoy your videos. Cheers.

Don't get how Pizza Hut survives in areas like yours where there are so many other better options. Out in the middle of nowhere, makes sense. In large metros, not so much.

Tipping culture has definitely gotten out of hand. A key question in my mind when tipping is whether the employees are at standard wages or if they are sub-standard (like waitstaff). Also, are the tips going entirely to the employees and being shared with the prep & cook staff. Not easy to know but some research online or conversation with employees can help yield answers.

pizza hut has done this before. my problem with this weird box configuration has less to do with pizza hut and more to do with the delivery folk and it's nor even the their fault. the grease leaks out of the box and it goes everywhere. it's unfortunate. doesn't seem to affect their other products.
