Well, if anyone is looking at the comment section and looking for tips to beat pizza face, you've come to the right place! Phase 1 --- Here are my strategies. Are you having trouble with the enemies he sends down? Follow this. Whenever he shoots out the enemies, grab the first one in midair and throw it towards all of the others. They will die. Once he dives down to bite/headslam, while parrying could be reliable if you are amazing at the game, trying to hit that parry could make you lose multiple runs. You should stay directly below pizzaface at almost all times DO NOT BE AFRAID OF HIM. It's fine to restart whenever. Once he shoots the enemies out, while they are in midair, they are always stunned. You can do what i listed earlier, or you could uppercut them. To deal with the biting, he will make an obvious signal with pineapple teeth. Once he does this, walk away. He will aim where you were when he was doing the animation. Once he slams into the ground, an enemy will pop up. Grab this enemy and hit him. This is the way you will be doing damage. Follow the tips i listed and you will be able to beat the first phase almost easily. The bad rats are all a hitbox. When they are biting, when they fall and when they are getting up. Dont overestimate peppino! He cannot grab the bad rat from a few feet away when it is squinting at him. Phase 2 --- Jeez, okay. I don't know much about this phase, but i can try. When he is running to the other side of the screen, his body is NOT a hitbox. During the gun attack, the bullets aren't low enough to hit you if you are standing still. The only thing you should look out for is the gun that he throws, because it is a hitbox. Once pizza face is flying above you and sending down gears (or pineapple wheels, not sure) don't bother to parry, as it will NOT help. Just jump over it, and it will not bounce off of the walls. The first time the fork knights fall down, they are NOT a hitbox. Do not be overly afraid of getting hit to the point where you try to parry and mess up your groove. Only the forks are a hitbox, so the fork knights do no damage. Big bullets are not usually worth it, because most of the time you will miss. Dynamite is not a hitbox, although the explosion is. Dont parry the forks in the fork knight attack, as it will likely bump you into another. Stay away from pizzahead, as you can bump into him and fall into pizzaface's gear. The TV attack does not hit you if you stand at the very corner of the room. Phase 3 --- i don't know. The only tips i can give: The Noise's bombs SHOULD be parried as soon as they are sent down. It is the easiest way to deal with them. Pepperman also does not use any upgraded attacks. Vigilante is hard. Attempt to throw gustavo at him either right when you get him OR after he invincibility slides away from you. Fake peppino does not use any clones of himself, so it is leagues easier. Try to combo him with gustavo. Pizzahead has a few gimmicks. Attacked once: Jump, boxing. Attack twice: Jump, fly swatter. Attack three times: jump, sumo. Attack four times: jump, boxing, fly swatter. Attack five times: jump, sumo, boxing. Attack six times: jump, boxing, fly swatter, sumo. And yes, his laughs get shorter and shorter every phase. It is very short on the last hit, so be right next to him when he uses sumo. --------------- I hope this helped!
In another video, you said that we have to play the game to truly become Peppino... Man, you are the inspiration for Peppino it can't be otherwise. You were so angry at everything that's litteraly how Peppino is at the boss rush. You destroyed them after trying over and over and over again, you can truly say that you are Peppino, you are the most Italian of them all
this took me like 3 days to do it, mainly because while struggling through it, i was learning how the ai and game would work in the fight, so i knew what would happen and made it easy on the third day trying
