I definitely like this take on “coop”. I put that in quotes because it looks like you’re both fighting over the camera spotlight rather than cooperating.
I somehow enjoy the two characters being in multiplayer mode because they seem to be arch rivals, but they have to settle for being "frenemies" by working as a team sometimes.
Making the camera something you actually fight over, has to be one of the funniest concepts I have seen in a while. God, I wish this made it into the final game.
If it were in the full release, it should have the split screen feature instead, like in competition mode from sonic the hedgehog 3, since having co-op on the other levels wouldn't work for just 1 camera with 2 players.
yeah... this is the first iteration of co-op, this is only a patreon development build and it is extremely likely to change within the following months. Hell, i'd even say within the next few weeks.
@@thatlazyboi3835 i've brought this up with ptg and having a good level of balance between "can i fuck you over" and "hey lets work together" is what makes a good co-op and i've wanted to ensure that happens

Oh yeah, those patreon demos & public demos were the shit back in the day! There really is a lot of material, and honestly, it'll probably all be lost if there wasn't a patreon demo archive held onto by community members
Yo, I love how they handled the camera. In a lot of multiplayer platformers it’s like “lmao only P1 can have fun, everyone else must go at their pace,” but in this game, you just do good and you keep the camera. I’m not the biggest fan of how winning works, though. I like how you need points to win, but I would like an option where if you like, get there first you win. Not necessarily, but it would be nice.

This is an extremely unique way to handle 2D platformer co-op, and I have to say, I've never played it but it looks like it works really nicely. This kind of creativity is what typically makes indie devs soar a bit further than big brand names in my eyes.
Oh I get it! When you play as peppino, you collect toppings (not to be confused with toppins, which are something you collect too). And when you play as the noise, you collect candy. That..that oddly works.
Brothers or Friends in Co-Op: "We must help ourselves to complete the mission and save the day" Peppino & The Noise: " - This is my plan Fatass, i'll use my skateboard to go and jump over you to go to that Room in this Multiple Room Tower - After that you Yellow Shit, i'll punch you"
So... _this is a co-op mode, where the players can steal the camera (a flag) fighting each other or getting damage; the max speed is avalaible if both players run together; and all the time was a points battle?_ .... *I really need the game when it's come out* also, we need get back Snick, and add another playable character for a 4 players mode (? (Using the same screen all the time; with split screen; or in a local server, so everyone can play in his/her own computer)
Only thing it needs is a bit more animations, like having a specific one when both try to enter a door at the same time (maybe struggling to fit both in) and a specific victory animation after clearing a level that show both scores to compare... On that topic it would probably be better to have two televisions at same time: one for Peppino and one for Noise instead of only showing the score of the "leading" player.

This game is still very new to me so it's crazy to think this game was in development for 5 years and I haven't even heard about it since the full game was released.
I love how they handled the max speed mechanic, it really incentivizes co-operative play, and because of how the rest of the game functions and its’ overall pace, it doesn’t get aggravating and is still manageable. It also adds to the charm and style of the game.
These people started saying “How Come you got the game Three years ago if it was Released in 2023”🤓, y’all realize it started Development in 2018 and for 5 years they Released Demo and Beta along the way until 2023 the Game final Release 💀 (Btw I Prefer the Beta, it feels more better to be honest)

This was like the second pizza tower reated video i saw in my whole life, honestly at first i wasn't much of a fan of the old main lobby, but everything else is just perfection, and somehow they still managed to perfect perfection, really hoping co-op comes back sometime, even as a mod i would be more than willing to play it
To be honest, I feel like online co-op with each player having a seperate camera all to themselves would make this work much better, especially in terms of secret-finding, going faster than the other player, etc.
