I'm also a time traveler, same as you. And I'm back to say that game is changed at everything. Tutorial level is being done in different way. A single room with all the enemies was remaded to the "full of stuff" Pizza Tower with 5 floors of true hardcore platforming. Music is cool and you can meet Gustavo & Brick the Rat.
Out of everything that this demo has different compared to the final game, the fact that peppino can't wallrun is the absolute most crucial one. It's such an integral part of his moveset. You can also see how much the level design is absolutely knee-capped by it not existing. Also the sword poke explains why peppino holds that sword the way he does in the final game.
It is SO crazy how this game has changed. It started from this silly little short game , which is just a tower with a boss at the end , Wand ended with an AMAZING GAME , which is SO FUN TO PLAY. And to think about it, 10 years from now, i'm gonna play this game and feel nostalgia. My god.
Seeing how the noise changed from "the main villain that aslo annoys you through the levels" to just "a boss that doesn't have a move pattern and does anything he can" is so crazy

Oh wow, I didn't expect to see this today! I created those sound effects for this demo in the early days of this game. Unfortunately, I was let go some time before the Kickstarter launch (which never happened, so I hear?). And the sound design was ultimately redone by the current sound team. This is pretty exciting, I don't think I ever got to hear my SFX in real time like this before! Which build is this demo?
Yeah, I was honestly impressed. The pixelart animations are really smooth, the gameplay is really solid and fun. It's good that people can make spiritual successors like this. And since this is original (aside from a few Wario Land sound samples), Nintendo can't take it down

literally came back here 4 years later to say holy shit this game changed a shit ton since the first ever demo i mean hell even the SOUND EFFECTS were changed

[SPOILER ALERT] I love that in the demo, the Noise is the one who destroys the entire tower with a single push of a button instead of peppino doing it, while in the full release, peppino is the one who destroys it by taking out the final john pillar.
In most of these videos I see people shitting on how the demo plays and looks. This is literally the first demo of this game ever made, it’s gonna be rough.
Yo conocí a pizza tower en 2021, 2 años antes de que saliera, estaba en youtube cuando vi un video que me llamó la atención, era un gameplay de la beta de pizza tower, lo que más recuerdo del video es que estaba esa mítica pantalla con el noise y peppino hacendo fuerza para elegir el personaje, además el único enemigo que le tengo amor odio son los caballeros con tenedor, por ser los únicos que recuerdo de la beta y por ser muy molestos, cuando el juego salió yo me quede asi:y este ya lo vi en otra parte,y era porque había visto la beta al final el juego es una obra de arte

Y'know, I wouldn't really care if pizza tower was like this, I actually like the game design of this beta, 2 acts and one boss at the end, and this for each level
Does someone still have the demo? The answer is of course but when I went looking for demo 0 content it’s usually in a broken state. Is there anyway to find an archival gathering of EVERY version of tower pizza that isn’t malfunctioning and by the original developers?

Wish i knew about this game in it's demo phases cause this would be interesting also i realized this is the oldest version of cold spaghetti which is the 2nd song for pizzascape in the stage's 2nd half and it's not even finished as it loops but this ahs the wario clip in it also these graphics are bad but i think there neat Edit:the old version of cold spaghetti and it sounds a bit different here but mostly the same here so what was the point of there being an even older version b anyways also the old transition between stages is here also pillar john eats toppings which mcpig states was pillar john getting more power when he was the villain as according to saucey's part 2 video of cut pizza tower content and also pepperman do be chilling in the pizza realm Edit edit:the shotgun was a item with the scrapped pizza coins iten so yeah and also half the sound effects are missing also the buzzsaws have a stable part that is removed and also i guess you grab the tower secret item rather then a countdown dash to the start so ok
