I love the voice samples used in this song. The “OOOOOOH YE-E-A-A-A-A COME ON!” goes so hard

Pepperman is smart enough to learn to reverse his charge when Peppino jumps over him, but underestimates his opponent enough not to even THINK that Peppino would do literally the same thing a second time.

They made the first boss Squidward Tentacles. Insane.

I like to think that the tiny version of him is the real him and the big version exists because of how big his ego is.

Despite this being Pepperman’s theme, it feels like you pissed off the head honcho of an underground organization and he’s come for you personally. They went fucking hard on this song.

Headcanon backstory: Pepperman was a self-absorbed frat bro who joined an art class to pick up "hot artist babes" and actually got into it, if only as a way to stroke his ego

Pepperman is when it fully hits you that this game is gonna be magical. Most platformers kind of drop the ball in boss fights (Even Wario Land 4), but Pizza Tower makes the bosses just as amazing as the levels.

I feel like this guy was almost definitely inspired by the Painter boss from Castle Crashers

since pepperman has his tiny form my headcanon is that pepperman was like the 2nd or 3rd toppin you would have collected in levels, but since he wasn’t the first he got jealous and went on to do his own thing, viewing himself as the main character in his boss room

Pepperman got an amazing glow up years later. I really like how he’s an egotistical artist instead of some maniac on a tower from the Halloween demo (no offense)

OH MY GOD this soundtrack is incredible oh and by the way theres a sample from this song at 0:28 (specifically the "do it") from "tag walls, punch fascists" by 2 mello in their album "memories of Tokyo-To" which is heavily inspired by Jet Set Radio, which this game's OST regularly uses soundbites from those songs too. I have no clue what anyone will do with this information but this scratched an itch in my brain I didn't know was there

When i first got to pepperman i thought he was really hard. He was. It took me like 15 tries to beat him. But i did find it funny that in world 2 you can see him spraypainting a picture of Peppino.

Pepperman is the stereotypical "rich" man that adores himself, portraying that self love in his drawings, and is a overly picky eater, many probably consider him to be an apple, which i too think of that, though i wouldnt encourage someone to say to him he is one.

can I just say, I was actually really dissapointed with all the boss themes when I first heard them, especially calzonification and pumpin' hot stuff, they have grown on me since and I have come to like them, but the literal reason why I was let down by them, was because peppperman strikes! slapped SO hard, that it actually set my expectations WAY too high for the upcoming bosses

For some reason, I always think its Pepperman Strikes BACK and I don't have a single clue why that is
