Streamed Pizza Tower the other week and knew I had to remix Pizza Time. I genuinely enjoy the shorter experience it was compared to a lot of other longer games out there these days.

I have a lot of ideas right now, but I’d honestly be most excited to see what you might come with when the Splatoon 3 DLC campaign releases. I’m always hyped for new Splatoon music in general, and I always love to see how people re-imagine it. That said, I would never be opposed to a Till Depth Do Us Part remix

This was great to hear, Retro! Your incorporation of the deeper voice chromatics and more intense tone for Pizza Time was quite well handled. With the faster and more abundant beat really adding a sense of urgency and and frantic movement, fitting enough for the game of Pizza Tower. The music remix is super cool! the rhythm it's pizza time is really well known, I didn't think that this game would touch our dear friend Retrospecter. DUDE idk why but this remix reminds me of a lot of older Retro remixes, specifically of sonic songs, mainly the beginning due to the heavy use of synth I believe and the bass? It just made me have like nostalgia and made me LOVE it, among also loving this one song in general!

This one was a miss for me tbh. I feel like it didn’t really capture the frantic, stressful, and chaotic nature of the original song. Also the splatoon sample felt really out of place.

Honestly… this might be the first cover in a long while that wiffed for me. Doesn’t quite capture the same urgency or chaotic nature as the original. Not to say it’s a bad cover, but just kinda misses the heart of the song.
