I always loved that Peppino was seemingly designed to embody how the music of Wario Land 4 makes you feel. You are either an unstoppable freight train on legs, or a terrified wreck scrambling for the door, and Mr. Spaghetti's emotional state is just a light switch labeled with "[Numerous baby seals sobbing hysterically]" and "[The entirety of the Navy Seals copypasta read at an earsplitting volume]"
Scared Peppino: "I call the pizza place. And I tell them, you have a....Pizza Faaaace." Angry Peppino: "Pizza Baker Man says 'Don't call or I break-a your fucking knees.'"

I'm sorry to hear that this game lost the indie award to cocoon. But you guys put in so much love and effort into making this game, and it deserves to be one of the best indie games of all time.
A game that's all gameplay no fluff with loads of personality loses to some normiecore artsy indie puzzler. Imagine my shock. Serious gamers don't take the game awards seriously and no one is going to remember cocoon in a year. Pizza Tower will win in the end.
I like how this trailer isn’t just the usual “Dramatic rendered scene then gameplay” It’s literally just shows you the game with no hesitation… I love it
Peppino reminds me of those random cartoon characters that are quite normal, but due to some recurring interactions with the wacky main character, becomes a completely derranged person. I love it.
I think thats entirely his gimmick, when calm he's quite chill and generally uncaring, very paranoid when faced with danger, but the moment he's had it with someone he will bulldoze them into the deepest pit of hell.

Holy shit, how have I not heard of this before? The stylized art here is incredible as well as pleasingly colorful, the music is bouncy and fun, the animation flows like melted butter, and it looks fun as hell.

Brings a greasy cheesy little tear to my eye to see this being finalized after discovering it in October 2018 and watching it go through countless demos. Congrats to the team for their hard work! Can't wait to see what the modding scene will look like now that we have a central client to use!!

This game is to platformers, what Dusk was to the retro-fps genre. A throwback to the past and a step in the direction of ultra-speed and skill. I got an adrenaline rush just watching this trailer. The demo is an absolute blast as well.
@@Uberransy Fucking game is incredible so far. I got it day one and have been obsessed with it. Tons of replayability and the levels all have their own little creative twists. The game is a bizarre, surreal experience that captures the Wario land feel mixed with a bit of Sonic. I haven't gotten an adrenaline rush from playing a platformer in a long time. I was on the edge of my seat trying to P rank even just the first levels in the game. Absolute blast.
@@ImTheGuy Pizza Tower sort of almost feels like a 2d ultrakill. Peppino has a fairly similar move set to the ultrakill robot too. In fact, both of the games are really similar and feature almost identical mechanics. Great games.

I feel like the characters are never doing the same animation twice. The cartoony art style and great soundtrack paired with fast paced gameplay looks great. I haven't even played it yet and it's my favorite game
The artwork for this game is absolutely timeless, EVERYTHING is so buttery smooth and snappy! There's such a zesty efficiency with every little movement. Major judos to all of y'all working on this! I can't image the hype of completing this behemoth of a pizza project at long last!

that's the SAGE demo. The story is that Peppino's restaurant is failing. He learns about the Pizza Tower and how they make amazing pizzas with their ingredients. Therefore, he raids the towers for their ingredients.
I've been so hyped about Pizza Tower for years, and finally seeing a full release come out after dozens of demos brings me so much joy. Pizza Tower will be the first game to sell a Pizzillion copies.

Well hot damn it's been a year for Pizza Tower. From a long-time fan before release, this is not the best fandom development unfortunately but it's really cool to see where this franchise has gone from the beginning.
I've known about this game since 2019, and now that I've beaten it, it was absolutely worth the wait. Amazing gameplay, amazing hyper-smooth animations, amazing everything.

I love Pizza Tower, I've been following this game for years, and it's amazing to finally see how far it's come! Having its imminent release is something truly surreal.
Seeing this trailer when it dropped in December made me realize that this was gonna be game of the year. Kinda crazy to think that it managed to not only not disappoint but even surpass those expectations. This game never ceases to amaze me with how much of a gift it truly is.

A good friend of mine showed me this games trailer ages ago when it was still I development and talked about how much we loved old Wario Land games. My friends no longer with us but I know hed be so happy for you to see this game finally finished and coming out soon. There are so many things in this game that make it amazing! The artstyle reminds me of a goofy Ms paint cartoon style, the music is so fun to lesson to, I really wish this game was on Switch.

The amount of Wario Land inspiration it has makes it so fun and vibrant to look at. It really reminds me a whole lot of Wario Shake it from Wii. I actually look forward to this!
I remember seeing chat logs of this game and didn’t think much of it and thought it wouldn’t be finished in the next years and yet here it is, in all its glory. I really wished I clicked on those chat logs now long ago

Seeing this game from it’s first iterations, worked up all the way into being such a polished iterations with such uniqueness and characters honestly fills me with joy
I love how this game just crushed Sonic, Ren & Stimpy, and Wario Land into a drug and inhaled it to make this masterpiece. I hope this game comes to consoles soon so I can play it.
This is one of the greatest trailers of all time this was my introduction to pizza tower and man that hypnotic beat the beginning that artstyle especially in the top right then the I’m about to get funky into it getting really intense and towards the end the taunts matching the music
