all things considered, bowser would probably be defenseless against peppino's "resourcefulness" and pizzaface would be defenseless against mario's chronic jumping habits have to wonder how they'd fare against every other villain tho
Pizzahead has “corrupted protagonist” type vibes, he’s like a mickey mouse or ronald mcdonald kind of character who went off the deep end, I think he’d have a good matchup vs Bowser
Peppino would pretty much solo each Mario villain except those who are either god-like or absolutely colossal (mostly from Mario and Luigi games) with ease. Meanwhile Mario would also have an ease time with Peppinos's enemies due to them being more on front attacks and less on avoiding attacks from above, except probably Vigilantee due to gun thing and even then Mario still has the fire flower to compensate

the thing i really like about these remixes is the fact that there's actually gameplay footage in the background for me to watch while listening to this stuff
I remember playing Mario 64, the last fight was the most epic one, the one when Bowser pulled out the other bosses and Mario started absolutely ripping them to shreds. And even Toad appeared as a throwable weapon!
Luigi would kinda fit more as Peppino,an anxious scaredy italian that runs fast and gets scary when pissed off? And Mario and Yoshi being Gus and Brick,with Pizzaface and Totino being a King Boo mech controlled by Waluigi.
BEAUTIFUL 10/10 Love the music and the fact you put the motifs' backgrounds "like the part that plays lap 2 at the beginning and you put lap 2 gameplay in it" in unexpectancy part 3
Holy shit... this goes so god damn, sons-a-BITCHIN' hard. So glad you did all Parts, rather than focus solely on Part 2 and/or Part 3, because Part 1 deserves just as much love as the other parts do. Also love how later on in the songs, there are subtle leitmotifs of Bowser's theme mixed in.
I remember how bowser got every boss and we had to do a boss rush but mario was so pissed that he screamed "WAAAAAAAAH" like he does when he touches lava, and with just one attack he defeated all bosses.
I cannot begin to describe how awesome this is. This arrangement is CRAZY. I love the Bowser themes intermingling in here of course as well as the percussion in pt2 just so so much. It's always been my favorite percussion set in almost all of gaming and it's used so effectively there. I can't wait to hear more PT songs in this soundfont from you.
I like how your other remixes try to use sounds/instruments in place of the various vocals, while here you just used the actual sample. Pizzahead is simply too powerful to be contained by the N64's soundchip.
I've been listening to a lot of remixes of Unexpectancy, and in Part 3's melody after the rising intro, most remixes tend to have the key progression be D F F G G A A Bb A, while in this remix you did D F A G G A A Bb A which I believe is how it goes in-game. It's hard to tell with all the sound around this part of the song, but with how tonally it fits, this interpretation of it is what feels right. Well done with the remix!
This man took the greatest video game series of all time and the best sounding video game OST and put them together. MASTAPIECE I also like that explosion at the end, it gave the final beat to the ending that really was missing from the original.
Nice SM64 cover of the song in the style of Bowser’s boss themes, and nice using the samples from Part 2, and I also like how it also adds some of the various SM64 letimotifs in some parts!😄🤩😎👌
Part 1: A harder version of the final Bowser fight. Part 2: This Bowser turned out to be King Boo with the Dark Moon in a machine. Part 3: King Boo yoinked all the bosses excluding Bowser and regrets it quickly after Mario loses it.
Pov: The protagonist switched. Mario: “…Where’s Bowser? Who ARE you?” Pizzahead: “Oh, hello there, plumber!” *meanwhile* Pepinno: “YOU UGLY DRAGON! IMA GONNA MAKE YOU WISH YOU WERE NEVER BORN!!!” *screams* Bowser: “Mario, chill. You can have her back.”
Well, you got all the big themes out of the way, what are you gonna do now? Level themes or smthn ...you could also do Pillar John's Revenge, a fan theme for when you do three laps in a level
