Interview of PJ Harvey intercut with live performance of The Last Living Rose for the release of the album Let England Shake (Thanks to PontiacB for the recording)
She's absolutely fantastic and really allowed me to rediscover her music, that it always been there, but suddenly something happened in the human lifes, and she discovers a new voice artistically, she just removes some little barriers and gets a connection immediately with someone like me a the other side of the world, just because she opens her extraordinary sensibility, through the music ... wow
Great interview. Something about the 20 second montage from 0.40-1.00 sums up for me the brilliance of PJH. Always reinventing her sound and her look, she is a gently spoken genius.
She gets more attractive as the years go by, I just watched an interview from 93, 94, 2007, 2011 - and she most definitely changed for the better, you can't often say that.
Oh I think she started real good with her creative work. She was a good wine already. She is an artist through and through, not for the fame but for her growth, passion, expression and healing processes. She is sharing that with us. We- maybe I should talk for myself, get the benefit of being inspired by her journey. Love her!😊❤️
Polly not the last rock star, she is a film siren in the Liz Taylor, Jane Fonda, Rene Russo, Ava Gardiner mode.Straight out out of Ellie Kazan. And an awful lot of Slvia Plath like Taylor Swift
