Varial kick flips are a poser trick. Spin the board one more time around then you are cool.

The stigma continues... It's not "cool" to do a varial kickflip. That's why skateboarding is becoming a corporate puppet, because skaters don't have the character to do the tricks they want instead of the tricks that are "acceptable". You sell your soul as a skater when you say a trick shouldn't be done.

It's a joke for me I think it's funny people hate on that trick.

I think the varial kickflip is a good trick for the basic, not for the pros, i have to agree, the varial kickflip is an easy trick, but is a basic trick for who want to 360 flip, just like a 360 shovt, who is not in the video

That all depends more upon the individual than anything as everyone's body is more or less balanced differently. Heelflips are naturally easier to attempt right off hand because you kick your lead foot in a more frontal direction,but once I got over how awkward the kickflip felt,I actually ended up finding the kickflip to be easier to do once I got them down,but as I said,people perform different moves easier than certain others. Some people are naturally better at heelflips than kickflips,while for others it's the other way around. This is why no two exact skaters ever share all of the exact same moves,even when they may have always skated together ever since they first started,and why everyone has a unique style all of their own.

It took me way longer for heelflips. I'm goofy, not sure how much that has to do with it, but heelflips have always been awkward for me.

Heelflip was my first flip both regular and switch. Depends on the brain I s'pose

***** It technically has nothing to do with being goofy or regular stance as you either ride naturally one way or another. I too,am goofy footed. I can do heelflips and they don't seem all that awkward to me,but I rarely ever tend to do them anyway because kickflips are just more natural to me anymore. It's all about just trying to either adapt to new moves or just learn new and different tricks. Of course I'm only talking about standard heelflips as I used to actually be pretty decent at inward heelflips and pretty sweet half cab heelflips and felt that I did them much better than standard heelflips as well.
