Iolani and Mililani tied 1-1 in regulation. After two overtimes, the tie was not broken so the game went to a best of five penalty kick shootout. Iolani and Mililani had their first attempts blocked by the goal keeper. The next seven alternating kicks went in and it was up to the final Mililani kicker to once again tie the score. The Trojan's shot hit the upper crossbar and allowed the Raiders to win the state championship.
