Pretty good information. I just cleared the exam with 910 score. Trust me this exam is quite challenging. Very good preparation is needed. I would advice Skillcertpro mock exams. Aim for 85% in their mock exams before attempting main exam. I got nearly 80-90% from their sets. This exam is all about practice. More you practice mock exams more chances to clear.

@karthiktwarakavi2267 No, I didn't take a contributor access as it was so expensive, but if you can afford it, you can take it,may be it can help you score more, but if you can't do not worry there are enough questions from free access that can appear in exam,also I have done udemy pl300 Phillip Burton course first to clear my basics,and then I used to solve exam topics question and Microsoft's official practice test(though it wasn't helpful in exam but it can help you to clear basics).

I planned to take PL-300 too but I feel like I don't have enough time to prepare yet and also I might need quite more experience in Power BI as I have just started not long ago. But I kinda want to take the DP-900 in a few days cuz they have me 75% discount (through coursera and my country), also I'm gonna work with cloud data too, so it's not bad to take DP-900. Hey! Last year I tried to clear PL 300 by self study only. In the first attempt I got very close to passing marks ( approx 570 marks) but with subsequent attempts my marks kept reducing. I gave 4 attempts then gave up. It has been one year since,am I left with only one attempt or after one year all 5 attempts renewed?

hello abhinav actually i read about it in the microsoft faq and it is mentioned that you can reschedule your exam 5 times in one year and if still not getting cleared within 5 times then after the 12 months from the first attempt you can do more 5 attempts in one year

I aspire to be a Data Analyst and my mentor suggested me to do these microsoft ke certification courses but he told me to follow in the order( DP-900 Data fundamentals, DP-100 ) But now saw PL-300 in this video for PowerBI. So tell me should i follow it the way my mentor guided and do the PL-300 aswell? or Just Dp-100 and DP-900 will do? cuz i have keen knowledge of Power Bi and Excel

Hi Kashif, for a Data Analyst i suggest you do DP-900 and PL-300. DP-100 is also a good certification to achieve but it focuses more on the Data Science. You can take this after completing the other two.

Hi Aditya, You need beginner to intermediate level of DAX knowledge for PL300. Most common functions used are:- • Calculate • Sum/Sumx • Filter • Divide • DateDiff • Sameperiodlastyear and some other iterator and time intelligence functions. I am preparing for PL 300, I have a doubt. If there is a Multiple Choice Question, where i need to select only 2 correct answers out of 5. No negative points will deducted if I choose incorrect Answer. if I select all the options(Answers) so can I get the points for that particular question?

passnexam is free.. you get access to 360 questions. But drawback is there is no discussion unlike exam topic. You see answers and explanations(with links). Pass n exam should be good enough for pl300.. all websites revolve around same set of questions.. Dont waste money in buying any dumps..
