Happened to me due to ignorance. I filter my water before using it but I underestimated how much lime stone still was involved. It wasn't as bad as in the video, but that was mostly due to luck, since a friend told me early enough. I had some problems with getting enough water through tough.
I took of the boiler and the resistance of my lelit Anna. The resistance had a lot of stuff on it … The boiler was not bad not good , but not like yours in the video . I cleaned the boiler and the resistance . My only concern is that I had to take of the salt from the resistancI rubbing it with fine sandpaper. It’s clean know but is it a problem that I rubbed the resistance? Thank you
Thanks for your video’s. Do I need a resin filter when using Volvic bottel water? And do I need to descale the machine yearly? The procedure with Puly liquid descaler I mean.
with good water you can avoid the discaler, i suggest you to ceck the silicon tube, if you see some limestone on the tube you will need to valuate the filter
Depends on your usage, I do it about every three months for daily use, probably recommend more often. Puly caff is for back flushing and cleaning the brewgroup only! For descaling I use wine acid, solve it in the water tank and pump into the pre heated boiler. Wait for an hour and pump fresh water into the boiler
Look at how dark grey the limescale is, its not normally that colour. Its likely due to lead leaching, from the brass boiler that you use and internal copper heating element. Not good! Its the reason i didnt buy the pl042
